Assalamalaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuhu

I wanted to take a minute and say jazzakum allahu khairan to durbah sisters and brothers, volunteers and students, to those who opened up their houses for me and to those who intended to accommodate me and to everyone who was there for TCE !

I had heard a lot about durbah's hospitality but to experience it first hand was nothing short of amazing. I will never forget my lovely sisters who were genuinely so so kind to me ! There were sisters I met from ilmsummit and our bonds grew ever deeper. I met a whole bunch of new sisters and I feel like I have known them forever. Durbah's crowd has a way to your heart, subhanallah and I miss durbah more than any other qabeelat I have ever traveled to !

I really look forward to being back in durbah land soon in sha allah ! and in the end, all I can say is "I wish I was a durbahite" ... (durbahites ? is that what you guys call yourselves ? =p)

Alhamdullilah I had a wonderful trip to New Jersey! It's hard to say whether I learned more from the seminar or the many different, exciting sisters I talked too. Though I may not be from Durbah, through the hospitality and the sisterhood delivered in abundance to my family and friends, SubhannAllah I truly felt welcome in the dynamic, loving, ilmcharged-sphere that is Qabeelat Durbah. I have to second what has been said and agree that in no other Qabeelat have I felt more welcome.

To quote Shaykh Yaser, it is truly the hard work of the volunteers that creates such an experience. May Allah (s) reward you in this life and the life to come and accept your deeds Ameen.

InshAllah I pray to return to New Jersey and go through the Durbah experience again. Jazakum Allahu Khairan for all the wonderful conversations, enlightening advice, unbeatable hospitality, and genuine love for the sake of Allah(s).
