As Salaamu 'Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatauhu,


This is a list of Du3a's Ustaad Muhammad Alshareef gave us in the Tafseer Juz 'Amma class....Perhaps someone can make copies for everyone in the class=)

*Rabbi Zidnee Ilman (O Allah increase me in Knowledge)

*Subhaanaka laa ilma lana illa maa 'allamtana, innaka antal Aleemul Hakeem (Glory be to You [O Allah] we have no knowledge except that which you have taught us, indeed you are the All Knowing, All Wise)

*Allahumma 'Allimna maa yanfa'oona (O Allah teach us that which shall bring us benefit)
...Wan fa'na bi maa 'Allamtana (and let us benefit from what you have taught us)
... Wa zidnaa i'lma (and increase us in knowledge)

*Allahumma inna na'oodhoo bika min ilmin laa yanfa' (O Allah, we seek your protection from knowledge that brings no benefit)
... wa min qalbin laa yakhsha' ( and from a heart which does not fear you)
... wa min 'aynin laa tadma' (and from an eye which does not tear)
...wa min dua'aain laa yusma' (and from a dua which is not heard)


Also, please remember all the students and our sheikh/his family in your humble du3a's.

While they are all really good Dua's, one of my favorites is this one:

*Allahumma inna na'oodhoo bika min ilmin laa yanfa'
(O Allah, we seek your protection from knowledge that brings no benefit)
