Operation Good Character

We have less than 24 hours to execute Plan A.

inshaAllah, ONLY ONE MORE DAY until
R-O-E AT OH-LO-NE!

The PROFILE
Think…in 24 hours at THIS TIME, inshaAllah we’ll be “smelling the knowledge” [Shaykh Yaser Birjas, TCE Sac state] coming out of our binders!

And we'll be running to write everything Ustadh Muhammad Faqih says so that inshaAllah we can implement it upon knowledge of it. And inshaAllah we'll use that knowledge to start piling up our good deeds, since the Prophet sallahu alayhe wa sallam told us that " A believer never has his fill of good deeds until he ends up in Paradise." Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 421

The GOAL

In these less than 24 hours let us prepare ourselves to improve our characters permanently, and make this change a means of us and our families being amongst those that Allah the Most Exalted says:

"Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for them is a reward uninterrupted."
Surah Inshiqaq, V.25

Plan A
inshaAllah, Execute the following frequently*

The KEY: Intention
The DUTY: Open our hearts to the Qur'an and Sunnah
The RASIE: Increase in rushing to perform fradh duties excellently and doing the extra often.
The DODGER: Avoid sins.
The TASK: Implement ALL knowledge.

*Note: For anyone who can think of a cool sentence that fits all of those in, inshaAllah there will be a very modest prize for it in this life , but inshaAllah we hope huge reward in the next life [so many people remembering and implementing it, inshaAllah].

The COUNTDOWN

We have less than 24 hours to gear ourselves for what we want to be amongst our provisions on the Day of Judgment-
we want our ahlaq to be amongst the provisions that we keep present in our hands and in our pockets because of its importance, not the kind that leave us lagging in the long lines of all of humanity on the day of Judgment.
[Idea from Shaykh Yaser Birjas- Arriving at the Right Airport]

The RACE

Let's WORK in this life so that we can REST in the hereafter. Let us tire ourselves working for Allah subhanhu wa ta'ala so that HE will give us an eternity of comfort, inshaAllah ta'ala.

Let us be of those who boast when they get their records in their right hands:
"Here, read my recrod! Indeed, I was certain that I would be meeting my account!"
Surah al Haqqah, v 19-20

You READY? On your marks--- GET SET!---BISMILLAH!

In these next 24 hours, let's see who

sits and contemplates Juz Amma the most
who gives the most sadaqah,
who ensures they fulfill all of thier obligations to Allah subhanhu wa ta'ala most vigourously,
who prays even a little more extra and increases the extra good deeds, who recognizes at least one sin coming between them at Allah Most High and repents for it
and who makes it a common part of their dua to ask Allah subhanhu wa ta'ala to increase them in knowledge and that this seminar will be a success to them and to all the fellow students of knowledge

[summarized from http://www.almaghrib.org/howtopreparetce3.php (http://www.almaghrib.org/howtopreparetce3.php)]

I guess we'll know the winner of this race on the day of Judgment, for Allah subhanhu wa ta'ala says:

Say: "O my people! Do whatever ye can: I will do (my part): soon will ye know who it is whose end will be (best) in the Hereafter: certain it is that the wrong-doers will not prosper."

Surah An’am, verse 135

but we pray we are ALL amongst those who boast about their records and will ALL be amongst those who enter Firdaous and be amongst our habib, Rasul Allah sallahu alayhe wa sallam, and amongst the righteous companions because of the mercy of our Lord,
Ar Rahman.

May Allah subhanhu wa ta'ala make you and your families all the MOST successful in this race! And may He subhanhu wa ta'ala fill your hearts with knowledge and let that knowledge be the most visible in your actions.
Ameen!
