Q ) Whats the best thing and whats the worst thing that you see in this Al-Maghrib class?
My 2 Cents :)
1) The best thing is that we are NEVER bored. We are ALWAYS in the class. From my personal experience,I have never ever attended a class in my life ,in which I am not starring at my watch ,waiting for the time to get over.In this class ,SubhaanAllah, time flies and you feel that you just started.
2) The worst thing about this class is that it upsets your stomach. After the 50 minutes class, all of a sudden you pass by these tables full of goodies ,and then you cant resist. The result is an upset stomach that is neither good for you nor for the surroundings.Ahhhhhhhhhhh its still hurting :(
Just a thought.

Salaam
i agree with your best and worst but have additional things to add
1)the knowledge you gain from a six day class is incredible what some would have learned in a month
2)the next worse thing is when the class ends(sometimes i wish it would never end)
that is pretty much it for me thanks

I agree, the fact that the classes have to end must undoubtedly be the worst thing about AlMaghrib classes!!! No one wants to leave the company of those who gather together to gain knowledge for the sake of Allah.

1) The Brotherhood, environment, and feeling the Blessings of Allah SWT upon the gathering where he is being remembered, Subhanallah!.
2) I have to agree with the others, it's definitely the ending. :(

1) Throughout the class you have so many little epiphanies, and emanrushes. They all amalgamate together and give you a whole new perspective on life.
2) The end of class was so emotional. Seeing the gymnasium without the tables, the chairs, or Shaikh Yaser - was sad.

The best was the class, the knowledge presented by the Shaikh and learning with some awesome sisters.
The worst was definitely the end of it although Alhamdulillah I feel soo happy when reviewing this material...helps very much to offset this sadness, Alhamdulillah!

1) besides the obvious: knowledge, brother/sister-hood, the shaykh himself, man...that food...how many qabeela's can say they had that kind of food? Jazakallahu khayr for the generosity of those brothers (and sisters?)
2)again, besides the obvious immediate depression that beset me on my way this last sunday: honestly, the lack of lower back support annihilated my back

Ok. An update on how serious those chairs messed me up: I couldn't walk today and went to a chiropractor to fix frozen joints and such resulting from that seating.
Not that my back or posture has ever been perfect, but those seats made it worse!
Alhamdulillah, everything else is fine.
