Ok folks - CONQUEST got to me. Sh. Muhammad got to me. I see now that to recruit more students is actually their Haq upon us - we HAVE TO get them to attend so they can benefit their own deen and the deen at large.
Just last night I went to a Walimah and signed up six people. Three of them were ready to pay me right there.
SELL THE BENEFITS
Share with people what you learned. The leadership skills, the focusing of thought etc. SHOW them the type of questions and comments that appear in the "analysis" section and ask them if they've EVER seen this before.
SELL THE TRAINER
Most of the time, when you mention "Islamic course" - the people think they're in for a bayaan. You know what you can tell 'em? Tell 'em Muhammad Al Shareef is like a corporate trainer that will help you make MONEY (yes, mention this first!) and make your DEEN also.
Your target person(s) MUST hear you GUARANTEE them, that this is like nothing they've ever done. You are speaking the truth so dont worry
SELL THE OBLIGATION
The two sisters I got on board were sitting there with their husbands. I told them that their husbands are responsible for paying for their wives to learn. Of course the brothers were like "bro, just eat the biryani!" but the sisters were already going into their purses ready to write a cheque!
What I mean by this is CONVINCE people how important it is to take these courses from an Islamic knowledge perspective. REWARD them with them by telling them how they will leave as better people - dunya and deen wise
LIVE THE DREAM
By this, I mean to say that when you mention the things above, let the person see how it has had an impact on you. People react very well to personal experiences, especially in a "sales" environment. Well, give them what they need! Let them see you DROOL over these courses (careful you don't drool on them!)
INCENTIVE FOR YOU
Maybe we can do a "recruit 10 people and you get in free?" What's that, 10 is too much? BAH!!!
I cant believe that AL Maghrb Canada (specifically Al Majd) has not been promoting these courses as they deserve to be promoted. I'm knew so I don't have to feel ashamed BUT ALL OF YOU SHOULD! :)
I'm on a mission now - RECRUIT, RECRUIT RECRUIT!!!
My goal is to have 50 people recruited for the March seminar - WATCH ME.
JazakAllahu Khayr - NOW GET TO WORK!!!!
