Abud-Darda (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah sallahu alayhe wa sallam said, "He who follows a path in quest of knowledge, Allah will make the path of Jannah easy to him. The angels lower their wings over the seeker of knowledge, being pleased with what he does. The inhabitants of the heavens and the earth and even the fish in the depth of the oceans seek forgiveness for him. The superiority of the learned man over the devout worshipper is like that of the full moon to the rest of the stars (i.e., in brightness). The learned are the heirs of the Prophets who bequeath neither dinar nor dirham but only that of knowledge; and he who acquires it, has in fact acquired an abundant portion.'' [Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi].

inshaAllah you are all hyped up for study sessions! that was an amazing class Alhamdullilah...let us engrave it in our hearts and memories and make the knowledge visible on our actions inshaAllah.
WHEN: Need your vote asap
the following times are what we have to choose from for the study session. We tried paltalk last time so that sisters who lived in SF, etc, could join us. We have some sisters from Wedad as well this time, so maybe this would be a good option.
YOUR JOB: Please respond with the following:
1.Would you like paltalk or to meet in person?
2.What time works best for you?
A/Wednesday evenings
B/Friday evenings
C/Saturday mornings.

Don't hold us all up in being of those who Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala's creation is making dua'a for. Respond quickly and let us get to work inshaAllah.
STUDENTS: Winter break is coming up. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala just opened up the way for us to have lots of studying time, Alhamdullilah.
MOTHERS: Children are always welcome at our study sessions. InshaAllah we can raise children like Abdullah ibn Zubayr radey Allahu anhu, whose first word was "sword."
