Asalaamu aleykum wa rahmatullah,
I just heard some great news.
A friend of mine from Montreal is good friends with the translator of "Don't be Sad", Faisal ibn Muhammad Shafeeq.
Alhumdulillah, there is a good chance I can get some time to go out with these brother's over the hoiday break. I have suggested the 'Interview of the Month' idea to my friend and he loves it.
So
What questions can we ask br. Faisal?
I've picked up the book and will read it in the next few days insha'Allah. These are my initial thoughts:
1. Ustadh, can you share with us your backstory and experience. Where did you grow up, where did you learn, and what is your area of focus?
2. In 2005 in the GTA there were over 100 shooting deaths. 10 of those were Muslim brothers. How can we keep our young brothers out of these bad circumstances?
.
.
(Your ideas go here)
.
.
5. Do you have any final naseehah for our readers/listeners?
Please give your input guys, and if there is anyone who wants to come you are more than welcome! Just get in touch with me.
Jazak Allah khair
