I think we should get the shaykh to cue us in on the end of the speech by mentioning the qabeelat majd. Then we could have the wahiduu chant. also like I think bruce said whenever you pass by the bazaar you scream wahidu and the people at the booth will salute and say la ilha illallah. if there is no que by the shaykh. then right after he gets off the stage I guess..

the wahiduu would have to start before all the 'takbeer- AllahuAkbar' stuff starts. so the cue would have to be immediate.

Ustadh Muhammad alShareef is only speaking once - so far. we're doing the wahiduu thing for other speakers as well, right?

hmmm I dunno if it really matters whether or not ppl think we're strange, it'll attract attention and get people curious, when they hear it in the bazaar again they will ask... thast the goal....its better than doing absolutely nothing inshAllah :)

I actually think it does matter what people think. We want to attract 'good' attention and not 'bad' attention. Maybe if we have a decent 'chant' during the lecture, that'll be sufficient. Someone suggested saluting and chanting at the booth. Allahu Alam, I think that'll just scare people away!
Or you'll get people roll their eyes and walk right past you.

I might be getting all grandma-ish......but im not feeling the chants! :)
