Assalamu Alaikum
I recently purchased Fiqh of Dawah CD set and completed it. Alhamdulilah! The whole series was very good. However, I would like to point out two issues which I noticed in this set so that it may not be repeated InshaAllah in your future releases.
1) The audio quality, lecture, examples were excellent. Alhamdulilah! But I was very disappointed when I was listening to the last CD. There was no conclusion at all.
Ustadh Muhammad Alshareef was explaining a series of points and the CD completed with one point. Thats it. I am sure the real class room must have had a formal completion of summarizing the whole lecture. But I dont know why the CDs did not include them or its just the CD set which I got did not have it. Because of this I did not get a completeness after listening to the series.
2) I assume in the real lecutures, notes will be distributed to the students.The listeners will really be benefitted if the notes is sold along with the CD set or if its available to be purchased separately or downloaded separately like "Study guide and Personal Notebook Exam" available for "Tafseer Juz Amma Touched by Angel series". Without the notes its really hard to take notes of each and every point which was quoted by Ustadh Muhammad Alshareef.
I sent an email regarding this issue to both emaanrush as well al-maghrib. No replies, so I am not sure if the message reached right people. That is the reason why I am posting it as a thread.
I would appreciate if any previous students have the notes as a softcopy, and willing to share it with me.
This lecture series was my first set of series that I listened, and I am motivated to buy more series. I would love to attend Al-Maghrib classes but since I dont see any classes in 50-mile radius in Southern CA, I am InshaAllah planning to utilize whatever that is accessable for me now by buying other CD-sets.
