Fiqh Ad-Da'wah: testimonials and ambiance
Bismillah.
One thing I have found is that when a new course comes to town, volunteers have a mini hurdle trying to get a 'feel' for a new seminar ... and this effects the enthusiasm by which they encourage others.
The hurdle that then happens is that 'after' they have attended the first weekend, they brag to their friends about how awesome the course was ... but by that time it's too late. People keep missing the train because they get pumped up 'after' the train has left the station.
So ... I would like to make the testimonials and ambiance thread in each course folder. Simply type up your testimonials and what you thought was awesome about the course. Then, those new Qabeelahs that get this course ... all they have to do is come and view this thread, reading it top to bottom, and then they will have the motivational fuel they need to believe in what they encourage people to attend... BEFORE the seminar and not after.
Bismillah ... tell us what you loved about the Fiqh Ad-Da'wah seminar, and it's ambiance:

As salam aleikum!
I never actually attended the seminars but I just finished listening to the CD set and took plenty of notes. Some of the ideas, concepts and strategies were so awesome I found myself writing all over my left hand because I had no paper on me. I have been collecting lectures and information specifically on Dawah and believe me this was a gold mine.
The whole thing was awesome. It is very difficult to pick one specific thing out because everything was beautiful there and included. The ending was especially cool because it was all the stuff you were waiting for but knew you wouldn't appreciate if you didn't listen to the whole lecture. I think the fact that my duaa is now "Oh Allah, make this country Muslim" stresses how profound this was. I really really think AlMaghrib should open a Dawah organization or Dawah wing.

it is a class that every Muslim living in West must take. It is not something optional, and i am sad that it is not being taught any more. We are here for da3wah and this class provides you tools that help you do da3wah more effectively.

Assalamu Alaikum,
This class will make it feel like it is YOUR responsibility to give Dawah and it will leave you feeling empowered Inshallah! You won't have everything you need but you will have a good foundation.

Asslamu Alaikum,
First of all, Jazaikallah khair to everyone who shared their testimonials. I would love to hear from more students that took this class.
My goal is to get more knowledge about dawah, techniques and any help related to dawah which will better enable me to implement actions. Since this class is not taught anymore, would the CD set benefit me signifigantly? I'm not doubting the content of the class but am just wondering if it helped students be able to give dawah in a better way? If so, how?

I JUST finished listening to the CD set a few hours ago, and OH MY GOSH, I am sooo pumped about giving Dawah. The CD IS SOOOO BENEFICIAL mashaAllah, especially for those SLOW note takers like me, who wanna keep rewinding if I missed something, lol. And mashaAllah, I really admire the way Brother Muhammad Al Shareef laid out the whole class, he makes it seem like its YOUR duty to continue working on a dawah project, and to start one if you dont already have one, if you dont he will get you...lol.
But seriously, Jazakallahu khairan to Ustadh Muhammad for putting such an awesome class together. At the end, I have nothing to say but, May Allah swt continue to increase you in knowledge and in taqwa. Ameen.
Also, no matter how small or big your current dawah project is, you will find helpful tidbits on how to improve that project and make it the talk of your community :)
