Flat-Tire Dawah

This weekend the Wedad Ameer and I stopped and helped a lady with her flat tire. We gave her a booklet on Islam before we left. Both of us we unsure how to deliver the book w/o it seaming like the only reason we stopped was to give her the book.
We eventually said: "We are Muslims and we would like to give you this book about our religion." She responded positively and reassured us she would read the book while she waited for AAA to arrive.

I guess it was successful since she took the book, but I think there was a better approach that could have been used...

What would you have said??

I dont know if theres a better way... alhamdulilaah what you and your friend did seemed good. It wasnt like you forced her to take the book? She could have refused and you still helped her. Even now if she doesnt read the book, she knows you already helped her....so her reading the book is totally her choice which seems she has taken by accepting it alhamdulilaah. Trust me they dont accept the dawah book/material if they dont want to. I once bought someone the icecream they were starring in the shop in hopes of giving dawah and she STILL didnt take it from me after taking the icecream lol.
