I would like to know what is the ruling concerning the "spread" of filth. For this I will give an example: Suppose a person bleeds for whatever reason (or any other impurity comes out) on his/her bed, carpet, couch, etc. The blood is visible, and it is also big enough for it to be a consideration to be washed, etc. However, before the blood is washed off, direct contact is made with it by a person. So in this case, does the filth from the blood (or urine or any other impure substance) "spread" to other places as that person moves around, and what are the rules in this respect?
