The Hayl Dua!

Bismillah.
Everyone has been inspired by the amazing grass roots effort of the sisters (and some brothers, 1 or 2) from Hayl.

Someone said that sisters alone couldn't revive a community. Someone was wrong ... in sha Allah.

This is crunch time for Hayl. i.e. this is Dua time.

The success of any AlMaghrib seminar, in any city, is a success for the Muslims all around North America. Because it means that knowledge will be channeled there, and people will drink from it, nourishing themselves and their people and the land and the livestock.

On another thread, someone was crying for her community to not let the blessing of AlMaghrib slip through their fingers. Subhan Allah, it reminded me of the companions on the battle of Uhud, reminding their brothers from the Ansar that they have no excuse in front of Allah if the Mushrikeen reach the Prophet, sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam, while any one of them is still breathing.

Now is dua time. Let's all make dua for Hayl!

Haylers have impressed me since they placed their bid. Masha'Allah, they truely believed in what they can do and here are the results:

120 people paid and confirmed. Only 35 more to go till they are declared as an official Qabeelah. With 425 people registered I make dua that they surpass their numbers and it will be another SOLD OUT seminars.

Dedication, commitment, sincerity and tawakul defined.

Ah-hem...just because the brothers aren't as loud as the sisters does not mean the brothers aren't working...

But seriously, the sisters have done an outstanding job, and the brothers that have been working (more than 1 or 2 thank you very much Mr. Director) have also been working a lot harder, especially as the class approaches.

I ask Allaah to accept your du`aa' and I ask Allaah to continue His blessings on our community, to increase them, and to guide us all only to actions which please Him.

Jazaakum Allaahu khayran to everyone that has been supporting us, both from the beginning, as well as the bandwagoners...: -p

I am offended by this :)

The same bros (at least 15 active bros) have been working since the 1st Hayl storm. The only difference is back then the sisters never did anything. As Abu H said “the brothers that have been working (more than 1 or 2 thank you very much Mr. Director) have also been working a lot harder…”

If I learned nothing from the class at least I remember that we (men & women) are to complete not compete with each other…Hayl will fail if only the sisters worked and likewise if only the bros…we all have to work together.
