Assalamualikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

One of the brothers, lets call him Ahmed, read part of the book by Shaykh Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah and he said he really got depressed after reading it.
I asked him, "Why?"
He said, "We (singles) are missing out on sooo much."

Thus, I decided to post some of the quotations from the book Rawdhatul Muhibb?n, to see what the single brothers/sisters are missing out on.

7ubbi [def]: big, wide dish that one fills up with an item, that there is no room remaining for anything else.
This is how the heart of a lover is; doesn't have any room for anything except \the love of the beloved.

Ibn al-Qayyim:
Looking is like a glass of wine, and love is the intoxication that results from that. The drunkenness of love is worse than the drunkenness caused by wine, for the drunkenness caused by wine will pass, but the drunkenness of love rarely passes until one is in the throes of death.
