Banu Haqq power of 10 + road trip

I spoke to a sister from Qabeelat Haadi and she is signing us up to start a power of 10 group (when you get a group of 10 students to enroll each student gets a $30 discount on the seminar) for the seminar Rays of Faith in the Bay area.

SubhanAllah, a couple of sisters missed the Love Notes class when Haadi offered it and were thinking about taking a trip down south insha'Allah but we did have the concern of the whole 3 weeks issue. Jazaka Allahu khyran Br. Kamran for your advice, although i still wished that Banu Haqq scheduled it's class on a different weekend (since we, Haadi scheduled our class before you ;))

Honestly, our discussion of seminar date did not include consideration of Haadi's schedule...we were more concerned about what would be more convenient for those of us in the area who were surely intending to come.

As it was, we had only two dates to chose from, the weekend of August 3rd or the weekend of August 24th. Either way, that would still be 3 weekends for you, yes?

And I don't think we had a choice about the month; wasn't this dictated by HQ? InshaAllah our ameer can speak more on this.

I agree with everyone who said that THREE WEEKENDS of knowledge is amaaaaaazing pre-Ramadan prep!

As for the road trip, not sure yet...gotta' check my school schedule =)
