Bismillah.
As everyone knows, as the Qabeelah numbers are going up, increased attention is being paid to the Exam turnout numbers. Exam turnout numbers is a prime indicator that students are taking the seminar seriously (the way it was designed) and are benefitting themselves after with halaqahs and study sessions.
In the past round of Exam Turnouts, duff roll please ... HAADI HAS COME OUT ON TOP!!!
Here are the numbers:
Exams: Exam attendance turnouts All percentages are on site attendance does not include deferrals (to be fair since some have not done their deferrals yet.)
65% - Haadi
44% - Hayl
43% - Majd
18% - Tayybah
11% - Wedad
I know the bigger Qabeelahs run around with award after award, ma sha Allah, but on the day that a going-to-be-Mega-Qabeelah-in sha Allah comes out on top ... it's time to celebrate!
go buy yourselves a sundae and send the bill to Kamran.

(is your exam attendance usually that high? What did you do different this time?)

Mashallah...may Allah reward brother Kamran and his family and all the volunteers that communicated the importance of this exam to the students and in turn reward the students for responding to the call.
Allahu Akbar!

mashaa Allah Haadi, 65%! That's pretty awesome!
(is your exam attendance usually that high? What did you do different this time?)Bismillah,
Assalaamu Alaikum wa RahmatUllah AlMaghrib Brothers and Sisters,
Well, Usool al-Fiqh was only my second class and the previous class I was busy the day of the exam and had no idea that we could take it later/at home...
I can't tell you what we did differently, but if you are not busy on the day of the exam. Why WOULDN'T you take the exam? Even if you only know a little, you have nothing to lose...
This class was dense but pretty darn comprehensive and I think all of the students loved it, mashaAllah.
May Allah reward Shaykh Yaser for an amazing AlMaghrib eye opener. Ameen.
I would love to see the shaykh open up another chapter of Usool al-Fiqh.
Usool al-Fiqh II, so that we could get even more into the beauty of Islamic Law...
I WANT MORE!!!!!
yaa shaykh, come back! Haadi misses you!
wa salaam,
Justice Girl
Good for you Haadi! C'mon Majd we have to be a quality, not just a quantity qabeelah!

Assalamu alaikum Haadians,
Good job. Keep it going...
I am very happy to see this recognition of our Qabeelah. May Allah bless all our families and keep the EmanRush going. And Kamran bhai, please give me your credit card number so that I can get my sundae.
A Non-Resident (in the physical sense; not in the spiritual) Haadian
Asalamu Alaykum
Am sooooo proud of us Alahamdulilah we have such determined haadians...
sister hala
i think what we have done well for at least the sisters, is that we have stayed in contact.. from run into each other during Jummah prayers and all the events in the bay area we kept each other on our toes and made us not 4got that we have a duty to make Haadi a sucess!!! We might be small but WE PLAY LIKE THE BIG BOYS!!! :)
OH AND ALSO WE MADE A BET BETWEEN THE BOYS AND GIRLS WHOEVER CAME OUT MORE GETS LUNCH FROM THE OTHER GROUP... IN OUR CASE THE GIRLS LOST SO WE HAVE TO BUY THE BROTHERS LUNCH ONE DAY... (WE SHOULD SAVE IT FOR OUR NEXT CLASS IN AUGUST :) )

Masha Allah! Haadi, May Allah bless all your efforts and bless your qabeelah with more and more success. Ameen.
Insha Allah Banu Haqq will beat you one day on the exam records and the class records. Even though we are at 42% for our recent ROE exam we are not listed here because we are not a Qabeelah yet. http://forums.almaghrib.org/images/icons/icon9.gif
But we are coming closer to be in the map of AlMaghrib.... insha Allah.

Asalamau Alaikum,
Alhamdulliah it was by the grace of Allah (swt) that we did well Inshallah may Haadi ( and the rest of the powerhouse qabeelats) reach 100% exam attandance.
What did we do diffrently... We studyed as a group. We had cram sessions we treated it like a final exam for school only more important.
My Absolute favorite time was the time After the exam and the closeness I felt with my sisters. Mashallah, we were going over questions with such passion. We were like " Ahhh why didn't I think of that" and " Allhamdulliah I knew that was the answer" and my most favorite " Subhanallah, We just studied that!"
There is no feeling comparable to that. The acomplishment!
Even if you didn't score so high Inshallah its a motivation for the next exam.

as salamu`alaykum,
Barak Allahu Feek Sh Muhammad and May Allah accept all our deeds and effort.
Jazakumullahu Khairan to all those who posted, we remember you all in our dua'a so probably that helped ;)
In terms of what was different this time?
After the help of Allah...
We stressed about the importance of the exam during the class
Study Sessions helped as well..even if people didn't show up, they were getting reminders, since the goal was to get students to study rather than for them to come to the study sessions
with your help and advice, check: http://forums.almaghrib.org/showthread.php?t=20315
BIG ONE: Conf Call with Sh Yaser Birjas. He was amazing mashaAllah. He summarized the whole class in 1.5 hours. May Allah reward the sheikh. We had around 25 people dial in for the conf alHamdulillah.
Haadians encouraging each other, this was another big one alHamdulillah.
There were probably more factors but this is what I recall....
BTW, brother_bruce, we can munch on ice cream in 2 weeks time, at the "Live your Dreams" event inshaAllah..if you plan on being there? :D
wassalam
