Asalamu 3alaykum,
I just had a question of clarification about Salatul Istikhara. If you have already made up your mind about a particular person that you want to marry, and you've made dua asking Allah (swt) to make it possible only if is khair, do you need to pray Salatul Istikhara?
The reason I ask, is that i've heard several bit of advise about it, and recently i've been told that it's not necessary if you've made up your mind. That Salatul Istikhara is only for a situation for which you are unsure of.
