salam'alaikum
I learned from a lecture that the marriage of Rasulullah to Aisha is not a Sunnah for us, but is something specific for Muhammad saw in a similar way as marrying more than four wives.
1. Is this true?
2. I also heard that it is allowed for the father to marry his daughter without her allowance to someone if she is below puberty. Is this true?
3. If the second question is true then how does Islamic Sharee'ah protect these young women/wives from being exploited and are there limits for the father to marry her without permission.
4. Are there any limits for the husband toward his wife it she is below age of adolescence?
5. The Prophet saw married Aisha at the age of six and consummated the marriage at age of nine.
- How does marriage take place according to Islamic Law?
- How does consummation of marriage take place?
