All praise is due to Allah,
and may His peace and blessings be upon His Messenger Muhammad.

Assalamu 'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Faqih spoke about loving Islam. He mentioned that everyone will definitely tell you that he loves Islam. "Islam is the best" is the phrase he used. Nowadays we have ruined the word "best," we rarely actually mean it. "That food is the best," "you are the best," "I had the best time ever!" We have lost the true meaning.

So inshaAllah I will begin by listing one or two things about Islam that makes me truly realize and feel that it is indeed the best, and it also makes me realize how blessed I am that Allah has guided me to Islam. Feel free to continue the list.

BismillahirRahmanirRaheem

1. I love Islam because Allah is the Most Just, and He commands us to be just with our dealing with each other. Being just is emphasized heavily in this religion. As humans, we all have a desire for justice. And Allah provides it for us. No one will be wronged even an atom's weight on the Day of Judgement.

And even after all that, Allah is the Most Merciful and He is even more than Just with us. He is the One who created us and controls us, yet He rewards us for living life according to His rules. He has offered us a great reward for seeking Guidance even though He is the one who gives us it. He rewards us for what is already His property and in His absolute control. Furthermore, He is the One who provides us with many opportunities in life to return to Him and repent and fix our ways, even though He is not in need of us at all, rather we are in dire need of Him.

2. Islam is the best because Allah has made a way out for every situation. This weekend's class made me realize the ethical dilemma that everyone has. How to choose what is right and what is wrong? What is good and what is evil? Who decides? Allah decides, of course! He created good, He created evil, and He created us! He tells us what is right and what is wrong. What is praiseworthy and what is shameful.

Those people who claim to be athiests yet still moral and ethical people, I would like to ask them: Where did you get your system of morals from? They might respond "society's norms" or "my heart." But where do today's norms of society come from? At one point they were sent down from Allah. You think humans just one day decided what was right and what was wrong? And who created your heart? Wasn't it your Creator, the One who created the rest of your body? So if you claim to get your morals from your heart, then you are in fact confessing and admitting that there is no diety worthy of worship except Allah, and you owe Him everything.

I love Islam because you can always put your full trust and faith in Allah, there is no reason to ever feel alone or helpless. He is always there, and He is the best one to always be there.
I love that Allah has given us the opportunity to gain knowledge of our religion by preserving the Quran and sunnah.

Bismillah.

Come from a Majdian .. even though I neever went to the class . I love Islam because when Allah[SWT] told not to do something; there is always a better thing you get in Jannah. Also the things the Allah[SWT] told us not to do for example. to wear hijab to all Muslim women, that was to not get molested and to be protected. Another example is not to drink alchoal** because it intoxicates your brain and you system.

Bismillah.
Another example is not to drink alchoal** because it intoxicates your brain and you system.
And their recompense shall be Paradise, and silken garments, because they were patient.

Reclining therein on raised thrones, they will see there neither the excessive heat of the sun, nor the excessive bitter cold, (as in Paradise there is no sun and no moon).

And the shade thereof is close upon them, and the bunches of fruit thereof will hang low within their reach.

And amongst them will be passed round vessels of silver and cups of crystal,

Crystal-clear, made of silver. They will determine the measure thereof according to their wishes.

And they will be given to drink there a cup (of wine) mixed with Zanjabil (ginger, etc.),

A spring there, called Salsabil.

Surat Al-Insan Ayah 12-18

--- And what a good drink it is in Jannah InshaAllah...InshaAllah, Let us die not in any deen other than Islam.... AMEEN -------

But i will say i Love Allah(SWT) and I love Muhammad(PBUH) for the sake of Allah, and everything that is between. (Meaning every single thing about Islam, including Sahabah & Ahl Al Bayt).

...And Ibn Taymiyyah...(i wanted to make sure that you know i meant everything and every Muslim)

Wa Alaykum As-salaam Wa Rahmat Allahi Wa Barakaatuhu,

Reasons to love Islam:

أَلاَ بِذِكْرِ اللّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ

Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest. (Quran 13:28)

[Our Sibghah (religion) is] the Sibghah (Religion) of Allah (islam) and which Sibghah (religion) can be better than Allah's? And we are His worshippers. (Quran 2:138)

Truly, the religion with Allah is islam. (Quran 3:19)

Islam offers solutions to everything. It (by the Mercy of Allah) rescued the nations of old, and it provides solutions for nations in existence today. Islam is the way to seek the pleasure of Allah and, by His mercy and forgiveness, offers us a chance to see Him in the aakhira--what an incredible reward!!!

Being a Muslim is like being selected for the winning team--you know you are going to win, you just have to be patient and pace yourself...

And Allah loves the patient. (Quran 3:146)

Mashallah awesome quote--

I love Islam for (e) all of the above...
Its haqq and there is no batil in it; I am put into the mindset that there is an accountablilty of everything I do and say, so it guides my actions, the justice of Allah SWT, everything good we do becomes an investment for hereafter

" whosoever does good equal to the weight of a speck of dust shall see it" [Zilzal:7]

Thus Allah SWT does not let any of our striving go in vain if it for His pleasure and for His sake.

Liberates us from falling into the superficial and dillusion of this dunya-because the Rasool SAW and Allah SWT emphasized how insignificant this dunya is and we should strive in the dunya to gain success in the Hereafter:

Be in this world as though you were a stranger or a traveler/wayfarer

I can go on...but I'll [b]STOP

As Salaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh

Bismillahi Walhamdulillahi Wassalaatu Wassalaamu ala Rasoolulillah ama ba'd:

I love Islam because I love Allaah, subhanahu wa ta'ala. Alhamdulillah! Allaah, subhanahu wa ta'ala says "This day I have perfected your Religion for you, and completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islaam as your Religion." [Surah al-Ma'idah 5:3] Allahu Akbar! I love Islam because Allah chose this religion for me and this is a blessing from Allah.
And I love Allaah because of everything that He is--that is all his names and attributes (Most Merciful, Oft-Forgiving, All-Knowing, All-Wise, Most Just, etc.)

Alhamdulillah, AlMaghrib brings out the student of knowledge within each one of us. And when I sit in that AlMaghrib classroom of 300 students or so, I reflect on Surat Al-Asr, in which Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says "By the time, Verily mankind is in loss, except those who believe and do righteious good deeds, and recommend one another to the truth, and recommend one another to patience." And when I am sitting in that room with muslim students learning their deen, learning the truth and having patience and performing this righteous deed of rememberance of Allaah; I feel comfort and security and I Praise Allaah that He blessed me to be among this crowd, whereas perhaps one block away from our class on a Friday night, Saturday night, or a Sunday night; there could be just as many students in a sports bar consuming alcoholic beverages and
backbiting and gossiping, listening to music, and eating pork, and probably doing other haraam things. But when I see myself in the crowd I'm with now and where that crowd in that local bar is, only one block away, I thank Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala; because without the Rahmah or Mercy of Allah, I may have ended up in the wrong crowd. Subhanallah, how that one Surah describes two groups of people who may be just a few paces apart--one group, the believers, by time are not in loss, they are the exception described in the surah, and then you have the other group where Allah decribes them as mankind in loss by the passing of time, and they are just a few paces away from the other group.
So I think I benefited much from that group assignment which Muhammad Faqih gave us because it gave me an opportunity to reflect on Allaah's Rahmah upon the believers. Alhamdulillah! May Allaah bless us to be of those who are always grateful of Allaah's blessings and especially be more grateful when we are in best health and high emaan. Ameen.
