Medicine of the Heart

Yahyaa ibn Mu’aadh said:
“The medicine of the heart is five things:
reading Qur’aan and pondering the meaning,
having an empty stomach,
praying at night (qiyaam al-layl),
beseeching Allaah at the time of suhoor,
and keeping company with righteous people.”

As salaam 'alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu!

Just thought I'd share - one video that ALWAYS leaves me in tears is "A Meeting With Allah by Ibn Qayyim" on Youtube. SubhanAllah! If you ever feel your imaan going on a rollercoaster or you just have a few minutes, I'd definitely recommend watching it! It always softens my heart, alhumdulillah.
