I was wondering, how you guys get people to pay on the spot. Your class has almost as many paid students as it does registered, and I noticed this for previous classes as well. So...what is it? Over here everyone pays last minute, literally.

They copied QMajd. Basically, they get everyone to register/ pay the previous class, but out of class advertising isnt as strong. :D

The difference between QMajd and QShams is, of course, that QMajd just has higher registered numbers and much, much higher paid numbers.

We've been around six months, the difference in numbers hardly warrants the use of the word "much". It won't be long before we knock Qabeelat FOB off the top spot inshaAllah ;-). We'll let you rest on your laurels until then. Enjoy it while it lasts!

Sooo back to the topic. Let's hear it Shams. I can understand if you guys are scared Tayybah might try to steal your secret since you are in fierce competition with them right now. So just send it to poor ol' Durbah and nobody else...

Guess when ur in the environment and Shaytaans like zero influence more people just happy to sign up. Helps if your nice to people too and with a big smile on your face!

well, before the ameer of tayybah thinks he can read my mind, I appologise in the delay in responding. I have been away at the jimas conference where shaykh Muhammad was one of the speakers.

Actually, its because here in London we are very blessed to have a large number of Muslims who dedicate themselves to ilm -its part of our culture. In london, alhamduillah there has been an explosion (in a possitive sense) of the amount of circles, classes and institutions offering higher level ilm.

Our biggest marketing tool is no secret - it is our amazing students whose lives are so profoundly affected and changed by the course that they stop and nothing to make sure their friends and family do not miss out on the next course.

It is for this reason that our core students are made up of family members alhamduillah, and groups of friends whose relationships are the ties of brother and sisterhood, and their "chill out" time is the time they spend under the shade of wings of the angels.
When their hearts are fillled with the love of Allah and His messenger, nothing stops them from implimenting what they have learnt - spreading the message and increasing the iman in the people they love the most.

When people are soo affected by a life changing course, they never forget us in their dua's and we as a qabeelah make sure that we do not forget our students in our duas. And this is our marketing stratergy -dua and increasing our obediance to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. There is no more effective marketing than that - as this was the stratergy of the best of da'ees, our noble messenger Muhammad salAllahu alayhi wa sallam.

I hope that this answers your query, and that every Qabeelah adopts this marketing stratergy so that Al Maghrib institute will have 30,000 students after ramadhan, compared to the 15- 20,000 we have currently.

Yaa Qabaa'il - lets think bigger than just our qabeelah! I pray for your success, and I hope you pray for ours too.
