Bismillah.
InshaAllah, this thread can be for anyone who needs to say sorry for anything; after all, these are forums with a lot of back and forth discussion, and it's easy for people to say something they regret or to be taken the wrong way. InshaAllah, let me be the first to apologize:

If I have ever offended or hurt any of you in any way, PLEASE forgive me. I'm truly sorry and I truly regret it.

But there is something in particular that has been bothering me for a long time now. There are two people to whom I owe an extra apology. Last year, a little after Ramadan I think, there was a thread about marketing techniques or something similar. I replied to two of the posts, disagreeing with both very firmly. At the time, I thought I had given a pretty good reply - but I was sorely mistaken.

A few weeks later, I reread what I had written - and subhanAllah, I was shocked. I still can't believe I wrote that. I was WAY out of line; I don't know what came over me. Those two posts I wrote were absolutely terrible, harsh, mean, and insensitive. Completely overcome with extreme embarrasment and regret, I deleted the two posts.

I still feel a deep, painful sense of regret for I've done, so here I am asking you both, sr. ~Safia~ and br. omer_k88, to please forgive me. I don't even know if you read the posts or not, but it doesn't matter. Alhamdulillah, I've been praying for you both and inshaAllah will continue to do so, and if you have any special conditions you want me to fulfill, inshaAllah I'll do the best I possibly can.

asSalaamu 'Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuhu.

MashAllah! Great courage akhi. You are an example and a role model for all of us here on the forums.

I think we should all seek forgiveness from one another esp now that Ramadan is upon us.

I seek forgiveness from anyone that I've ever offended or caused any harm to. Please forgive so that Allah swt can forgive us.

Sr Bilane I def I agree with you. Best thread by far! :)

MashaAllah this is a really nice thread. May Allah reward you for being the person to start this. Sometimes we write post and make threads not knowing the people who are going to read it will be offended. May Allah forgive us all for what we say and do Ameen. If I have offended anyone or said anything please forgive me as well. I agree placing this it A Heart Serene was brilliant.

Ameen to all the du'as.

Happy, sad, angry, astonished, flabbergasted or just plain disgusted, too long do we let our fingers run. Lightning, with ever fleeting thoughts. No need for words to slip past our idle lips.

And yet... we still manage to offend eachother.

I humbly ask you all to forgive me for any offense you've taken from any letter of any word that I've ever spoken(or typed).

May Allaah, the Most Wise, bestow upon us the best of manners and bless us with the ability to be kind, gentle, forgiving, humble, and patient. Ameen.
Invocation for someone you have spoken ill to:
اللهم فأيما مؤمن سببته فاجعل ذلك له قربة إليك يوم القيامة
Translation: "Oh Allaah. Whomever of the believers I have abused, give him the reward of a sacrificial slaughter for it on the Day of Resurrection."
Fathul Bari 11/171
Muslim 4/2007 : The wording in Muslim's report is "make it a purification for him and a source of mercy."

Masha Allah, may Allah accept our repentance... it's a nice reminder...!

And say to My slaves (i.e. the true believers of Islâmic Monotheism) that they should (only) say those words that are the best. (Because) Shaitân (Satan) verily, sows disagreements among them. Surely, Shaitân (Satan) is to man a plain enemy. (Al-Isra 17:53)

Sometimes someone will write something and say it in a way that most people will not find it offensive, but shaytaan will make some of us read too much into it and see it negatively... Sh. Muhammad Alshareef says his rule when sending emails is to never do it while angry... write it, come back to it two days later and see if you still wanna say what you wrote!

Assalamu Alaykunna Sisters, Assalamu Alaykum Brothers

May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala make it happen that the best of your deeds be the last one, but not the best from among the bad, but the best from among the best.

May Allah make the best of your life the end of it, but not the best from among the bad, but from among the best.

May Allah make the best of your days the Day of Meeting Allah. May you all stand before Allah on the Day of Reckoning and Allah will tell you that he will never be annoyed with you from this day on.

May Allah make it easy for you to cross the traverse As-Siratal Mustaqeem crossing over hellfire with the blink of the eye or at least in the speed of light.

May you be allowed to be invited from all of the Eight Gates of Jannah.

May Allah rescue all of you and your families from the punishment of the grave and may Allah make the grave a peaceful resting place for you where you sleep peacefully dreaming about Jannah.

May Allah rescue all of you and your families from the punishment of hellfire and make it easy for you on the Day of Judgement.

You my brothers and sisters are most valuable.
