Banu Midlands will be unleashing some new levels of competitions Inshallah.

The latest is the 'RANDOM DAWAH CHALLENGE'

How many Random people can you give dawah to?

How many Random places can you give dawah?

Using hikmah, Banu Midlands is setting up this competition to spread the words of Allah SWT.

What you need to do:

Set yourself an aim for each day or week.

1)to give dawah to a complete stranger, even if you leave them with one pearl of Islam.

2) Log the response that you got on this thread. Share how you did it.

3) Read other responses to find new ideas and what may work for you.

The best post, with the most interesting response will recieve a prize inshallah as well as a 'Random Dawah Challenge Certificate'

For those of us who lack confidence this is a duty to our Lord-so let us not shy away from pleasing our Creator.

Remember to lead by example when giving dawah-i.e. male to male, female to female inshallah!!

You don't need to go out your way or time-You will be amazed on how many opportunites you have on your daily routine-YOU JUST HAVN'T NOTICED THEM YET!!!

Give somebody whom you don't know a gift they can treasure for life.

On the bus, train, at work, at a cafe, in the supermarket, barbers/hairdresser, your neighbours etc...

Don't just make random chit chat, make random dawah!!!

Salaam, ME TOO!

and just to start everyone off, my dad tries to catch the postman every time he comes! AND especially on Eid, he'll invite him in for some food and to talk to him about islam!

AND For those of you who are at university, when i was at uni we'd always invite our lecturers to any Islamic Society events and we'd give them some free literature at the end of each lecture (kinda like a swap: you teach me, i teach you!)...TRY THAT OUT!!

I'll definitely try to make a point of giving Dawah to randomers (i think just made that word up!) AND posting about it here...inshaAllah!

let the competition commence!

Ukhtee, you'll be heading the stall at the event, enough RANDOM Da'wah oppurtunities!

Just thinking how would you start...?

Hi, my names (name), do you know anything about Islam?

Or

Do you have 10 minutes? I'd like to tell you about Islam...

Would they work, or do I have to find out?! Anymore?

SubhanAllaah, we were on our way from the meeting today and we were by the bus... With many, many daw'ah opportunities... Guess what happened?!

I was about to go and I stopped and doubt kicked in, silly excuses, what will they think of me and what not! It happens!

So I began to question myself and a LOT of good came from it alHamdulillah.

A few questions I asked myself.

What's the worse that could happen?

- Giving daw'ah to a rondomer... They call me names?

Rasoolullah salAllaahu 'alayhi wassalaam was called names.

- They hurt me... Call the police!

Okay, seriously Rasoolullah salAllaahi wassalaam was hurt by the children when he went to Taif, rasoolullah salAllaahu 'alahi wassalam said it was harder than the battle of Badr when he salAllaahu 'alayhi wassalaam lost so many of his beloved companions and he salAllaahi wassalaam asked Allaah 'azza wa jall to have mercy on them, maybe their children will be worshippers of Allaah... And they were!

- They give me a really wierd look and ignore me.

Khayr inshaAllaah, people would put cotton in their ears to save themselves from listening to Rasoolullah salAllaahi wassalaam, what will a wierd look do to me?

What will I say to Allaah subhanhu wa ta'alaa on yaw mal Qiyaamah?

- All these people who walk past me, what have I done to save them from the fire, from the punishment of Allaah subhana hu wa ta 'alaa.

- Rasoolullah salAllaahi wassalaam did so much for this Ummah, he salAllaahu wassalaam cried for this ummah until his dying days. What have we done to continue his legacy? To be part of his salAllaah 'alayhu wassalaams legacy?

Just some thoughts, don't let shaytaan give you any doubts...

Give YOUR excuses a BLACK eye! I will...!!

Another day brings another lesson... Not a Random Daw'ah experience.. YET, but a lesson inshaAllaah.

SubhanAllaah... I have one question...

You have an oppurtunity and there is the individual... You show good manners, behave like a muslim should, then what next?

How do you lead the conversation onto Islam...? As Islam the religion of Truth?

This is my hurdle...!!

I have been doing some reading on the called. Will post it soon inshaAllaah.

We do daw'ah on the daw'ah table in uni and it's easy, you just stop them and they expect it BUT random daw'ah... Is indeed a Challenge.
