Mine is a simple one:
Why is shaytan so "powerful"?
How can he poke every baby at birth and whisper into everyone's chest.
It seems like he can be everywhere at any time.
Did he have these powers from the beginning or did Allah (swt) allow his powers to grow?
Insha'Allah Shaykh Waleed can answer this next week or on here.

I believe Sheikh mentioned that we do not know about his life before he becomes the Dajjal. Only that that is his purpose in life. waAllahuAlim

We learned that Shaytan has an army of helpers. I don't think Iblees has the power to be everywhere all the time, although like all jinn, they travel extremely fast. When it says that they are poked by shaytan, it doesn't necessarily mean that every baby is poked by iblees himself but by the other shayateen as well. Maybe its the qareen that we are all have with us all the time? Someone please correct me if that is wrong.

Allah told us about Shaytaan, that he is weak and the Prophet(saaws) said that the believer defeats the shaytaan. Since he is from jinn and jinn have certain have certain abilities unlike humans but doesn't mean he is powerful. Remember what we said about when we close a door and say "BismaAllah" he cannot open that door. As for poking the baby upon birth, it seems to be the work of shaytaan himself that's the apparent meaning from the hadeeth, and Allah knows best.
As for Dajaal, we dont know much about him except the role that he is going to play in the end of the days. The good that will happen when he emerges is greater than the evil that he cause. Such as the descending of Isa (as) and erasing the kuffar from the face of the Earth, etc.

Sorry for the late question but this has been in my head for a little while. I dont know if we covered this or if I missed it. My question is, does the dajjal have free will?
