Alhamdulillah, this is so excited! Inshallah this will be a successful run for Cleveland, it is much needed and I know we are all hungry for knowledge! I def want to see Shaykh Yasir Birjis, that would be such a motivating way to start off a promo seminar. I know a lot of people here like him. Im willing to help with any fundraising to help pay for any expenses! YEAHHHH CLEVLEAND!!!!!!! :)

Inshallah I will get on that asap, but i want to brain storm some ideas! Inshallah I will get some more sisters involved to brain storm some ideas about fundraising. I know at ICC they did a cook book fundraiser a couple years ago. Mothers from the masjid put there best recipes all together and sold them to the Cleveland community and it was a success mashallah. Inshallah we can get something creative going thats also to our communtity's benefit.

Im very excited for the Meeting at ICC Sunday. Inshallah it will be successful and productive. Alhamdulillah we seem to be recieving lots of support from the community. Also, lots of ideas such as basketball tournaments, bakes sales, flower sales, ect, are being presented as possible fundraising ideas. I can not wait til we get started! Inshallah Allah will make this easy for us, and if a challenge presents itself, best believe Cleveland will handle it, with Allah's guidance and help! :o)

TheIslamic Center of Cleveland will be hosting two guest speakers from the D.C. Area. Its gonna be a weekend packed with ILM! Feel the Iman Rush!

Thursday April 2nd lectures for the youth- 8- 9:30 (male only)

Friday April, 3rd

• Friday fajer prayer and advice - doc. Abdul jawed Konsuwa. (male only)

• Friday jum3a speech- doc. Mohammed el shinawi (everyone)

• From magrib to isha dares for men and women in downstairs Masjid- doc. Konsuwa (everyone)

• All the young youth will have their speech in the gym- doc. Shinawi (everyone)

Saturday April 4th

• Sat fajer- advice – doc. Shinawi (male only)

• Sat after duhr from 1-2:00 speech for quran school- doc. Shinawi (everyone)

• Potluck from 6-7:30 (everyone)

• From 7:30-9:30- lecture and questions doc. Shinawi/ Konsuwa (everyone)

Sunday April 5th

• Sunday fajer- advice with doc. Konsuwa and breakfast (male only)

• Sports after breakfast- volleyball, soccer, basketball. (male only)

• From 1-2 speech from doc. Shinawi (everyone)

• From 3-4 speech for quran school (everyone)

All speeches are about, youth behaviors, actions, marriage problems, and everything concerning a Muslim family in America, and knowledge. We hope you can make it.

Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him narrates: I heard the Messenger of Allah saying: “Tell me; if a stream flows by the house of a person and he baths in it five times a day, will any dirt will remain on his body?" The companions replied: “No dirt will remain on him".

The Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) said, “that is the likeness of the 5 prayers, Allah forgives sins by them...” [Bukharee]

Alhamdulillah i think the meeting went well at ICC. We had a good support and inshallah i am looking foward to the promo event in June! We have a lot of work to do til then but i know it well be very worth it!! :)

LOL, thank you Naima...u have our support as well. Our first bake sale to support funds for Cleveland's Al Maghrib Promo event is tomorrow at csu. Inshallah it will be a success! I was happy to hear we raised almost 200 at the CAIR event also, mashallah. I think after tomorrows bake sale we should have enough to pay for expenses.

I think our BIGGEST concentration should be promoting and adverstising now. So what are some ideas to bring our community together and focus their attention on Al Maghrib and the upcoming seminars?

*Baba Ali is coming to CSU so inshallah we can make an announcement then and pass
out flyers.
*Also Case Western is holding a seminar for the sisters, so Inshallah we can make an announcement their as well.
*Fiqh of Salat in Coloumbus!! Inshallah we have a group of Clevelanders going down there who can promote for us as well.

But we need more ideas!!
