asSalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh

We'd like to hear everyone's feedback on the constant twitter updates... gems, photos, videos, links that were provided throughout the two days.

What did you like? What can be improved?

For those who haven't seen it, check it out here:

One thing I can suggest: More people need to get involved, who have publicly accessible accounts, and tweet about it. We need to create buzz on the event specific keywords, as well as the #islam keyword (which is right now dominated by anti-Islam links). The more people that tweet on a topic with hashtags, and more often, the more likely it is to become a trending topic!

We will insha'Allah use these suggestions when covering more AlMaghrib events and seminars. Most notably, Heart Serene and Fiqh of Love coming up in Durbah and Tayybah, Insha'Allah.

All feedback is greatly appreciated!

i loved it, except the ilmfesttweets account should have been a bit faster in RTing. i think the settings can be changed for that.

it was awesome though.

For someone wanting to get a hint at the mashaAllah outstanding content being presented, the twitter updates were great.

However, the twitter format isn't that conducive to reading such an onslaught of updates. If the updates fed into a live-blog of sorts, it would read much better.

Definitely agree. It was very hard for me to catch up with all the gems on there, it was too fast.
