Dear Seekers of the Valley

Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu

I pray this reaches you in the best of health and imaan

I just wanted to take this opportunity to reflect on how truly it is Al Hamid, the Praiseworthy One Who is deserving of our Hamd for granting us the opportunity to learn from Shaykh Riad, and be amongst the Valley of the Seekers. If anyone came to Islam, they did so by the Love of Al Wahhab, and yet we find today so many of us don't know our Lord. SubahanAllah. In light of this knowledge I attended this seminar, and truly, it was nothing short of amazing and uplifting, of our hearts inshaAllah, in connecting to Allah and Living with His Most Beautiful Names.

Those of us who are yet to pursue this course, please make sincere dua for Shaykh Riad, for his family and for Allah swt to grant you all and us the tawfique to benefit from this paramount and vital knowledge, and understand these Names and Attributes of Allah. Only when you know Him swt can you call upon Him by His Most Beautiful Names, truly, our hearts are broken, if we do not Know Him. He is Al Jabbar, the Superb Comforter and Restorer, He mends our hearts when they are broken.

I have no other words to share than that you will leave this course, bith'nillahu tha'la, like a new Muslim who has understood truly the importance of Living with Allah swt, in every moment of our lives. And May Allah swt make it a means of us attaining Jannah and make it weigh heavy on the last day for our teacher and students alike. Ameen.

The reason why I entitled this Post with 'Now' is because I am hoping inshaAllah all the students of this course will each pick a Name of Allah swt, and share it, and illustrate it using a example from their own lives inshaAllah so those not present can benefit and learn too, for we are now truly birds who must fly and live with the Names of Allah if we wish to attain the highest ranks,

JazakumAllahu khairun for reading,

Dear Seeker through the Valley

Bismillah...

on one of my journeys today, I came across a blind person.. I thank Allah for making me fortunate enough to see her :)

this brings me to a very special Name of Allah swt, we make mention of it's root word so much in our daily lives and salah - Hamd, but have we truly pondered over Him swt, who is Al-Hamid?

Al-Hamid (The Praiseworthy): (To praise, to speak well of): The One who is worthy of all thankful praise. The One and only One who truly deserves all praise, honour and adoration. Occurs 17 times in the Qur'an.

'To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth. And indeed Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy' {Surah Al Hajj 22:64}

Ibn ul Qayyim: Allah is praiseworthy for two main reasons

1. All His creation praise Him for their existence, sustenance, blessings
2. He is Praised for His Beautiful Names & Attributes

Indeed we will never be able to enumerate His blessings upon us, He is Al-Hamid, complete and perfect in His Praise. Should we not thank Him swt then for fashioning us into human beings, without an defects, with our eyes, our ears, our mouths, our noses, our Islam?

It is the angels who are in a state of sujood until the end of time, when they meet Allah in this state they will say: 'Praise be to Allah, we have not worshipped you as we ought to'..

The best way to be grateful: Use the favours bestowed upon you by Allah to reform your society, enjoining the good and forbidding the evil and contribute with all your means to the betterment of your society.

Dear Seekers through the Valley
Assalaamu alaikum
I pray this reaches you all well,

I just wanted to take you on this journey, and with the help of those sisters who were present at the Valley, we would like to begin to share the Most Beautiful Names of Allah with you inshaAllah, inshaAllah these will be snippets of information to learn, understand and memorise each Name, for truly it is a amazing thing if we can Live with the Names of Allah and Love them, for He swt is Al Wadud, the Most Affectionate, the Most Loving, and remember Him swt in every action of our lives.

I request that with each post, you really ponder over how you will live with this Name, for Allah swt loves for His creation to display love amongst one another. Perhaps one of the most amazing things about this course, is that you must learn that your ticket to Jannah is simply not in memorising the 99 and one less Name of Allah, for indeed He swt has many more and He is Al Alim, so try to write down how you will live with this Name inshaAllah.

Al-Latif (The Most Subtle): (to be elegant, gentle, courteous) The One who is most subtle and gracious. The One whose nature is gentle, affectionate, courteous, and refined. The One who is Kind to His believing servants guiding them to that which would benefit them and aid them via means that they are not aware, this by His Kindness and Beneficience. The One Whose Knowledge encompasses all the secret and hidden matters.

'Allah is Subtle with His servants' He gives provisions to whom He wills. And He is the Powerful, the Exalted in Might [Ash-Shura:19]

Al-Latif has two meanings:
> Al Khabir: The All Knowing
> Kindness and Gentleness

It indicates that Allah is not only compassionate to the believers, but He swt is more than patient, He is lenient with us, cautious, gentle and affectionate... Glory Be to Him swt.

How will I intend to live with Al-Latif?
Eg:
Bismillah

- I will be kind to all of creation, whether it is a ant in the street or a giant from mankind inshaAllah! :)
- I will take care not to say anything that might hurt the feelings of my brothers or sisters in Islam
- InshaAllah I will seek to benefit those who are around me with all I say and do, and be compassionate towards the believers
