just want to add that repetition is key...and listening to it again and again from the same Qari helps as u memorize the tune as well.

Challenges...I think the foremost is not having somebody who can listen to you and correct you.

look at what an amazing accomplishment it will be for us to memorize these verses as any time that passes we are closer to the time of Dajjal.

How about this for a little motivation?

I agree with Batool. I find that if you listen to it over and over again, it is much easier to memorize these verses, and this way you can make sure you are pronouncing everything the correct way, rather than just reading the verses on your own and trying to memorize them.

I find it much quicker as well since after listening to the recitation a few times, it sticks into my head, and I am constantly revising these verses the rest of the day :)

I agree with sister batool too, I listen again and again from my favourite Quari (which is Misahry) and I have memorized first ten verses now I am working on last 10 verses my two daughter who are 11 and 12 they are memorizing with me too alh. Its was not that hard we just have to put litle time in it .

There are only 15 Days left till the seminar BUT the good news is that if you haven't started your memorization you still have time to devote even 1 day to each verse and you will still have some make up time available, if need be!

So for everyone that hadn't memorized the 10 verses and felt just as embarrassed and disappointed in themselves for not doing the homework, not only cuz it was going to be tested but also because we aren't protected from Dajjal, please post your progress here.
