Always be positive, hopeful of mercy and fearful of punishment
Allah’s mercy is more than the love of a mother for her child
For love of Allah and his Prophet (peace be upon him) be ready to sacrifice not just your wealth and time but also whole of yourself including health, body, heart and mind
WOMEN: COVER YOUR FEET, HIDE YOUR BEAUTY!
Patience is when a calamity first strikes
Do your own jobs/tasks and place your trust in Allah alone
Remember Prophet (peace be upon him) more often. The more we love them, the more we talk about them, cherish them. Appreciate what the Prophet (peace be upon him) has done for us.
Allah is more compassionate and merciful to his slaves than a mother is to her child
Prophet (peace be upon him) was an average person – average built, perfectly proportioned. What distinguished him from others was his spirituality, his conduct, his speech and his knowledge
Any blessings that you have – you should use it to please Allah
The perspiration of the Prophet (peace be upon him) smelt like musk
The Prophet (peace be upon him) walked at a fast speed and spoke slowly. Walking fast to avoid procrastination and speaking slowly so that others understood him. We should take example
Better than you my eyes have never laid upon and more beautiful than you no woman has ever given birth to it is as if you were born free from every deficiency or it is as if you were created as you yourself had pleased
Prophet (peace be upon him) is talked about not just in the Quran but also in the gospels, torah, New Testament and old. Proof of prophethood is clear to everyone
When you love someone, you want others to love them too
Whoever perfects their worship of Allah has obtained the ultimate success
Have mercy on whatever is on the Earth and Allah will have mercy on you in the Hereafter
It’s not about how much you have; it’s about how much you GIVE
Ibn Hazam said had Allah swt sent no other miracle except the recording of his life it would be sufficient for belief
One of the hardest things in this world is to be just
You will not succeed until you love the Prophet (peace be upon him) and Allah more than your loved and yourself
Greatest pleasure in Paradise is seeing Allah swt face feeling His and feeling blessed
Defend Allah, Prophet (peace be upon him), and Islam the right way. Through intellectual emotion and through your actions
True shukr – any blessing you have use it in way of Allah to please Allah swt
Save people from the fire – The mission of Muhammad (peace be upon him)
Muhammed (peace be upon him) did his own chores
Only when you win the hearts of people will you be able to win their minds
For them it was about feeling good with how much they gave
Invest your money in the right way – Give before there comes a day when nothing will be accepted from you
You must be moderate to achieve your final destination
Whoever perfects their salah – consider this the highest attainment of success
We worship Allah for three reasons when nothing will be accepted from you
You must be moderate to achieve your final destination
Whoever perfects their salah – consider this the highest attainment of success
We worship Allah for three reasons – for forgiveness, for serenity and tranquillity, out of pure love for Him (swt)
True love allows one to taste the sweetness of Imaan
The blessings that the Prophet (peace be upon him) was given he used in the way of Allah to please Him
The burden of responsibility is great, but Allah swt doesn’t require for you as an individual to save all of mankind, but Allah swt requires you to do your best. And in order to stand during the day we must stand during the night
Have reliance on Allah swt and do everything yourself – just like the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Wealth is a rizq from the Allah swt it comes when it’s intended to come to you, so use it in the way of Allah
“Bring serenity and promise to us, O Bilal” – SubhanAllah
If you love the Prophet (peace be upon him) it’s more often you will mention him in your gathering
Be a leader/courageous and others will follow
Muhammad (peace be upon him), he was a perfect leader, he was able to influence people to achieve the outcomes he desired
Win their hearts first, then their minds
Everything our Prophet (peace be upon him) did had mercy in it
Know your lineage, it’s good to know where we came from and purity of blood. Don’t be too proud about it as they don’t represent who you are now
The continuing act of charity is giving out your money in the right way for the right reasons
Story of Abu Dahda – “What a profitable trade you have made”
Allah requires us to do our best to help get us and as many Muslims as possible to Jannah, Ameen!
The truth is not found in the way of men. First find truth then you will find men of truth
Your wealth whether great or small is destined for you!
The more you give, the more you get back!

The Story of Abu Dahdah رضي الله عنه
During the time of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, there was a young orphan who was getting a wall built from the edge of his house to his neighbour’s but there was a palm tree that was causing a halt to the construction. The wall could not be continued unless the tree was either removed or added to the child’s house. This tree belonged to the companion named Abi Lubabah رضي الله تعالى عنه. The young boy (the orphan) came to Abi Lubabah رضي الله تعالى عنهand told him, “Give me that tree so I could construct the wall.” Abi Lubabah رضي الله تعالى عنهreplied, “No, it is mine.” The boy then said, “Then sell it to me!” Abi Lubabah رضي الله تعالى عنهrefused once again. The boy said, “By Allah, I am going to complain to Prophet of Allah!” He went and told what exactly had happened with him. Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم softly said, “Where is Abu Lubabah? Call Abu Lubabah!” He صلى الله عليه وسلم then said to Abu Lubabah رضي الله تعالى عنه, “Give him the tree” Abu Lubabah رضي الله تعالى عنهsaid, “No, O’ Prophet of Allah, it is my haqq.” Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “O’ Abu Lubabah, sell it to him.” He رضي الله تعالى عنهreplied, “No, O’ Prophet of Allah it’s mine.” Hearing this, tears started flowing from the eyes of the young boy. Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم then said, “O’ Abu Lubabah, give him a branch from this tree and you will have a tree in Jannah” Abu Lubabah رضي الله تعالى عنهsaid, “I don’t want it,” and the left. When Abu Dahdah رضي الله تعالى عنهheard this and saw the boy crying, he went close to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and said, “If I purchase the same tree, will I get the same offer?” Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم replied, “Yes” Then Abu Dahdah رضي الله تعالى عنهran after Abu Lubabah رضي الله تعالى عنهand said, “O’ Abu Lubabah, do you my orchard? (His house was in the orchard and some scholars said it had 400 trees whilst others said it had 600) It is yours for that tree!” Abu Lubabah رضي الله تعالى عنهturned around and said, “Are you out of your mind?” Aba Dahdah رضي الله تعالى عنهreplied, “No, it is yours and O’ people be witness!” Then he went where Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and the boy were and said to him, “O’ boy, that tree is yours!” Abu Dahdah رضي الله تعالى عنهthen went to his old orchard and called out from outside, “O’ Umm Dahdah!” She رضي الله تعالى عنهاreplied, “Yes, O’ Abu Dahdah!” He said, “Come out of the orchard” She asked, “Why?” He said, “We have sold it to Allah and His Messenger!” She said, “What a successful deal!” Then Umm Dahdah رضي الله تعالى عنهاgot their children out of the orchard. They were carrying some dates, she got hold of their hands, opened them and threw the dates back into the orchard and said, “They are for Allah my child.” And thus, Abu Dahdah رضي الله تعالى عنه sold off his 400 trees plus his home for a tree in Jannah.
