MashaAllah! I really love sample 1, perhaps because there are a lot of colors in it.
In addition, the KLCC and hibiscus flower represents Malaysia very much.

These are looking real sleek, masha'Allah! I love the professional and clean look of it.
At the same time, I also like the incorporation of the hibiscus and the KLCC towers from Sample 1. Perhaps a combination of them all?
Also, have a qabeelah color been set? That would make the design of the logo easier, insha'Allah.

design-wise, changing from banu to qabeelat in the logo is not a hassle at all. so the hassle will be in term of corporate matter? so is it decided that we gonna drop the "banu"? cos then, i need to alter the design!

jzk sis bint naim. there were some ideas to incorporate the klcc into "A-A" in ihsAAn as well but it doesnt turn out so well (from my point of view). and jzk for giving me some time for break. im able to move to top gear in my thesis writing, alhamdulillah!

the latest (combination of the suggestions) seems good, I'll vote for that. Omitting the "banu" won't change the design anyway, right?

my 2nd choice is sample 2, it's less colorful. I just love it for the tech-design. =)

I like the clean look of 4,5,6. I also like no 9. For 4, 5,6, im not too sure about the wau because when I see wau, i think of kelantan. How bout inserting the towers there instead? I agree on setting a color code. Think we should use bright hip colors..cuz isnt that the image of almaghrib? Hip.

i have actually tried using arabic letters for banu but i trashed the idea since i dont think its good that only ppl who can read arabic can read our logo. adding extra art will make the logo looks messy. too detailed design is not good too since the logo might b used in smaller size in the future.

so, shall we get rid of "banu"?

thats my thought exactly. n dont worry bout the background. it has been transparent. i think the combination of purple n silver will look cool, with glossy look and sooo almaghrib inshaAllah!

My humble suggestion is that we do not include any crescents or stars in the logo.

I also suggest that we do not include or refer to images of petronas towers or kl towers.

I personally like the ones that have a picture of the wau. That is a kite used here in Malaysia.

I wish I had skills to be able to enter my own design.
