I was wondering, what people thought about reviewing information/knowledge learned (is it important, not so important, and why)?

Implementation would be the best level in my opinion,
what I was trying/attempting to bring attention too was
the importance of actually reviewing what you took time to learn
because if you don't you just wasted your time essentially and
You will be held accountable for the information you now know.

Well said! What is the worth of knowledge learned after it has been forgotten? And if your first comment was alluding to our AlMaghrib class books (such as the ones we received during Love Notes), then let me assure you--long after the seminar is over, you'll continue re-visiting your notes on occasion. TRUST ME! I speak through personal experience and observation of my siblings...

Even months after my first-ever AlMaghrib seminar (Beautiful Patience, Tafseer Surat Yusuf), I still review my notes just to recall the experience and gain that pleasurable EmanRush!

But as you said, implementation is what we should shoot for.

And I truly believe that we have to pass the knowledge along to others as well, it is like paying the "zakat" on the knowledge that we have acquired. And doesn't the Prophet (saw) say, "Convey on my behalf even a single ayah." Paying it forward I believe is an Islamic concept, way before the movie that popularized it. And what better way to review and test yourself by passing the knowledge on through words and actions.

May we be among those who make benefit by following all the knowledge that Allah (SWT) bestows on us rather than hoard it and be accountable for hoarding on the Day of Judgment. Ameen.
