I am not sure if the name of scholar is right.

Ata ibn abi rawah said remembering death gives you 3 things. 1. Hastening to tawbah, 2. Please with what Allah (SWT) has given 3.not competing with the people of duniya. And the one who doesn’t remember death often will get 3 things which are opposite to what is mentioned before.

Day of judgment is 50,000 years long.—If you live 60 years in this world, it means you lived only 2 minutes of day of judgment.

Will then some one want the pleasure of these two min on the price of 50000 year long day?

There is wisdom in us not knowing the place/time of our deaths.

If we knew, we'd want to escape it. Allah (swt) is being merciful to us.

This life is like the hour and a half you have before a flight; you take care of a few things until it's time and then you catch your flight out.

Delaying good deeds till the end of your life is like inviting someone over for dinner and eating your fill before inviting them to eat.

“There is not a Muslim that visits another in the morning except that 70,000 angels ask forgiveness for him until the night, and if he visits him at night then 70,000 angels ask forgiveness for him until the morning, and he will have earned a garden in paradise” (At-Tirmidhi).

Seek help from Allah first! Then iA from humans. (Remember the Shaykh's story of losing his wallet and doing 2 rakat asking Allah)

The angels comfort the believer at the time of his death. This is when the angels are the closest to the person than anyone. SubhanAllah.

70,000 angels pray, for whoever visits the sick during the day, until night and 70,000 angels pray, for whoever visits the sick during the night, until morning.

SubhanAllah, when we visit the sick, we never really realize that we're getting so much reward.

Gem:
In terms of sudden death, it's sorrowful for a disbeliever as he didn't get to repent but if for a believer it's a good thing as the suffering of the Ruh leaving the body is minimized.

Sleeping is considered a minor death because Allah (swt) takes your soul away at that time. Also, you can meet another soul while you sleep. It would seem as if it was a dream.
