The pictures are already up on our Facebook page, but I figured I should put some on here, that way the rest of the world can see them!

These are from the first weekend. I'll post the ones from the second weekend soon after insha Allah.

This was free Friday night. Masha Allah we had over 500 people!! Alhamdulillah!

Masha Allah our set up team did such a great job...the class looked beautiful. Sheikh Yasir loved his table so much, he said that out all of the cities he's been to, we had the nicest table! (yeah I know that's something to brag about, no?)

GEM Boards!!!! I realize that these look exactly the same and it's hard to differentiate between the brothers' and the sisters' boards. We can't look at the number of gems, because masha Allah as you will see, the brothers have been putting up a strong front....

btw the brother's board is the one by the camera...

Jazakum Allah, glad you liked them! They weren't hard to make--AT ALL! They were actually my "plan B" 'cause my plan A failed miserably... No worries though lol all's well that ends well, Alhamdulillah. =)

Alhamdulillah we had a brother from Building Blocks give a presentation to the class about their annual food drive, and also the director of the Islamic University came and talked to us about the classes they're offering this semester.

A little message from Qabeelat Madinatayn to Qabeelat Wasat...designed by one our younger guests from QWasat. Before AlMaghrib came to Minnesota, QWasat hosted Minnesotans whenever they went to take a seminar in Chicago. Alhamdulillah now QMadinatayn will be able to be just as kind!

We don't have awesome AlMaghrib merchandise like other Qaba'il (cough Tayybah cough Barakah) but we had a couple tables from other organizations. Alhamdulillah.

Yes, this is our future Ameer...he's was an AlMaghrib toddler before...but I guess he's shooting for a better position. I tried to get a shot of him from the front, but he kept moving!

Our customized fortune cookies! Best part of the class. One of the messages read "C'mon I'm a cookie, did you really expect me to give you some advice???" Lol.

Sheikh's gift! The kids wrote him a card that said "Dear Sheikh Qadhi Y, Jazak Allah khair for teaching our parents and their friends, that way they can teach us!" Lol so cute. We also got him an ice cream scoop because he loves ice cream! And a UofM desk light....light of guidance from Minnesota!

O yeah... I was supposed to take them home but a few girls requested them on the last day of LOG. Insha'Allah I'll offer the brothers the FOS GEM boards after the next seminar. I haven't started working on it but Insha'Allah it turns out nice! =)
