زَمِّلُونِي زَمِّلُونِي
Wrap me up! Wrap me up!
So Allah revealed:
يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلۡمُدَّثِّرُ
O you wrapped up!
This is the moment after the Prophet sallahu alaihi wasallam returned to his family shaken after his second encounter with the blessed Angel Jibrail alaihi salaam. After the first revelation in the cave of Hira, the Prophet sallahu alaihi wasallam kept returning in hope of another meeting, and was confronted with the magnificent being that was Allah's subhanahu wa ta ala most noble angelic servant. He hurried to his family, "Wrap me up! Wrap me up!", his frightened words as his family comforted him.
Allah subhanahu wa ta ala then revealed:
يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلۡمُدَّثِّرُ - قُمۡ فَأَنذِرۡ
"O you wrapped up! Arise and warn!"
Come and witness Allah's revelation.
Come and feel the Qur'an being brought to life!
Relive those spinetingling moments of revelation.
'See' the gardens of Paradise as you have never thought possible, all through the Qur'an!
