Asalaamu `alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu,

I felt we needed to have a "first" session to get everything rolling inshaa' Allah. So the first brothers study session will be at the Rutgers University Campus, New Brunswick, NJ. It will be held on Wednesday (2/11) in the Macintosh Classroom in the College Avenue Computing Center at 7:30pm inshaa' Allah. Please park behind the Rutgers Student Center (directions -- http://www.rutgers.edu/kiosk/directions/RSC.html). Then, with your back to the Student Center, cross College Avenue, continue going straight (you will go up and down several sets of steps). After that, you should be standing in front of Records Hall (http://maps.rutgers.edu/building.aspx?id=264). The computer lab is through those main glass doors.

When you enter the computer lab, just ask the staff for me (Mostafa). I'll be in the office (if I'm not already in the waiting area eagerly awaiting your arrival :)). If you have any questions, e-mail me inshaa' Allah. We will pray ishaa' and then have a light first session and decide when we should meet next week (I'm leaning toward Tuesday night) inshaa' Allah. Make sure to bring your Conquest binders and notes inshaa' Allah.

Asalaamu `alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu,

Before you dissent so quickly, ask for the details :). Br. Moustafa and Br. Umer are working out details for a North Jersey session for that very reason. And as soon as they have made all the arrangements, I have already instructed them to post the details here on the forum inshaa' Allah.

As for weekday vs. weekend, we will be mixing it up so all can benefit inshaa' Allah. Tonight's session was the first available reservation I could make that didn't conflict with Islamic events in the immediate area and on-campus. For example, ISRU is on Thursday nights, so that's out. And this weekend, ISRU and MCMC are having a 3-day seminar on Al-Aqeedah At-Tahaawiyyah (http://muslims.rutgers.edu/anncs.htm). So please, be patient with us as we try to accommodate as many brothers as possible.

If we do have more weeknight sessions in New Brunswick, what time is best for the brothers? We will be aiming for evenings (7:30pm or later) to accommodate those of us who are coming from work inshaa' Allah.
