AsSalaamu alaikum,
In this thread (http://forums.almaghrib.org/showthread.php?t=5438) Abu Hurayrah says
This restriction does not apply to questions already asked before this posting.
So, if you have a question that is over 3 days old, you may bump it, even if it has nothing to do with Ramadhaan.
I wanted to know if this part has been abrogated. As I noticed some threads in the fiqh section that have been locked when they had originally been posted before the Ramadhan rule was introduced and then recently bumped. Accordinng to the original bumping instruction, provided the original question was posted before Abu Hurayrah's instruction they could be bumped irrespective of the subject topic (i.e. whether it concerned Ramadhan or not).
I am asking because I wanted to bump my question on eid (which was posted before the Ramadhan rule was introduced) and was fearful it'd be locked.
Jazaakum Allaahu khairan.
