From what I understood we’re supposed to find one quality, piece of advice, story that had the biggest impact on us by writing in our journals and using the following guidelines:

I: Improve… any quality habit characteristic that you

D: Discard...something you can get rid of…concept, misconception, misunderstanding

E: Enjoy….a joke, information, a story…anything you enjoyed

A: adopted…something you didn’t have but were able to adopt.

L: Learned…fascinating piece of information.

I think we are supposed to write about each one. My question is are we to do it for all letters everyday or every letter just one time?

The way taht i understood it is taht we are supposed to write about anything that falls into those categories.

Meaning tha twe dont write a journal of our everyday life events (i.e woke up..went to school..etc) but something tha had meaning to us.

Then from those we can find what had the greatest affect on us.

This is exactly what I meant!

Find one matter for each one if you don’t have anything to report … tell answer this question: WHY?!

(For example:
I for improved; I did not improve anything because I am perfect and I don’t need to improve anything!
E for enjoyed; I was not able to enjoy anything this weekend! I could not relate to anything we discussed or learned. It was boring!)

I know that we are supposed to share our experience in the community service in the IDEAL journal and that needs to be submitted.

Do we also need to submit the IDEAL journal that we have written not relating to the community work we have done?

sorry still a little confused, is the journal supposed to be a daily thing or every time we improve on a habit during the week?

(Yes in the ideal sense we would improve a haibt every day insha'Allah..)

IDEAL is the format I suggest you follow for the daily journal (optional class activity) as well as the community service project (mandatory and due on the final exam’s day)
