Assalaamu Aleeykum wa Rahmatu Allah...

I have never heard this Hadeeth before, but subhannah Allah, we can definitely all relate to it as we all go through the sadness of leaving the ones we love the most... However, the most beautiful thing that brings about happiness is that as Muslims, we know Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will grant those who believe in Him jannah and so we shall meet again and insha Allah that meeting will have no departures...

Yaa shaikh walaahi words will never be enough to describe how much you have affected me with your knowledge and style of teaching... It was truly a heart to heart type of a class... I'm sad that so many poeple i love did not take this class... But i am determined that I will share every single thing i have learned from this class... This class gave me the type of a reminder that made me implement everything I have learned... Sami'na wa Ata'na has never been so sweet... I know that words will never show you how grateful i am for learning from you... but I'll never forget you in my dua's.... May Allah make you and your family happy in this dunya and the akhira... and May Allah make us allatheena yastami'oona alqawla fa yatabi'oona ahsanah...

Also, yaa shaikh i so wanted to give you a CD my brother gave me as a gift from Dubai... forgive me i could not find it... It is an amazing lecture that is available online on islamweb... It's for Sh. Saleh bin Awwad alMaghamsi, titled Noor Attawheed... I hope you can share that with your wife as well, just a humble gift if it even counts as a gift...!

Shaykh Riad, it's AbdelRahman, the big white guy that filmed you for Wasat Studios.

Come live with me. :-D I'll hook you up big time insha Allah, just stay in the United States!

But seriously, may Allah protect you and your family, wherever you are. One of the things I learned this weekend is that you have to make the best of your situation - no matter where you are, it's still your duty to be a Muslim and to represent Muhammad [saw]. China, Russia, Dubai, America - our job remains the same.

Ameen to all the du'aa for you and us, Shaykh Riad.

Asalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullah Shaykh,

JazakAllahu khair Shaykh Riad for everything. I will miss you from the depths of my heart. If we never meet again, I pray that Allah (swt) unites us in Jannah and we can talk about how your class changed my life. Ameen.

Please try to come to the States Shaykh (preferably Chicago).

JazakAllahu khair,

- Faiez [I'm one with the big beard in the front row of the windsor class :)]

So glad to hear from you AbdelRahman. Your good manners, masha'Allah, have really touched my heart. May Allah preserve your Iman and protect you with his Specific Ma'iyya "Togetherness", you, the brother with the Big White Beard who sat in the front (Faiez) :) and all the brothers and sisters who attended and those who didn't attend the Heart Serene seminar.

Actually my beard is black Shaykh. But if you want it to be white I'll dye it ;)

May Allah (swt) protect us with His specific Mai'yya. Ameen.

Shaykh,

JazakAllah khair for one of the best AlMaghrib seminar and experiences ever, as well as giving us the time to film you. I'm the camera man from Saturday night (did you like our "professional" tripod set up).

We'll all miss you big time! (although we have a piece of you in our hearts as well as the khatira on tape, and the "bonus" demonstration session you had. :)) If/when you come back to Canada to teach A Heart Serene in Toronto, PLEASE consider coming state side to the United States. Especailly Chicago!

May Allah make your endeavors easy, insha'Allah, and support your Dawah and have us meet again if not in this life then in Jannah (we can go backstroking in the rivers of milk and wine insha Allah).

Saqib
