As salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah,
Inna lillaahi wa inna ilayhi raaji'oon. Some of you may recognize the user name (AbuHidayah) on this and other forums. His father passed away in Winnipeg this past Sunday. We ask Allah ta'ala to forgive him his sins, to accept and multiple the best of his deeds, and to enter him into the highest levels of Jannah. Ameen. Please remember him in your dua as you would wish others to sincerely make dua for you. -- As you may or may not know, on Sunday, April 16, 2006 at around 4:00 PM, our beloved Brother Syed Haseebuddin passed away. The Janazah prayers will be held at the St. Vital Masjid (247 Hazelwood Av.) after Zhur prayer (1:45 PM). For those that may not be aware, he did alot of crucial work for the community of Winnipeg - Most notably, the construction of the New Centre. We were informed recently that the project has reached it's final stage - So it is on the cusp of being completed. For this, alot of the credit needs to be given to Brother Haseeb and his phenominal drive and efforts. The following is from the MIA president, Dr. M.G Joundi - Assalamu Alaikum, wa Inna lillahe wa Inna ilayhe Raaje’oun, wa Laa Howla wa Laa kuwwata illa billah al’aliy al Azeem. Our dear brother Syed Haseebuddin passed away peacefully this afternoon. Rahimahou Allah wa Ghafara lahou, Ameen. May Allah Subhanahou wa Taala shower him with his mercy , forgive him and grant him Paradise, Jannatul Firdows , Ameen and May He the Exalted , grant his family patience and endurance. To Allah belongs what He Takes and to Allah belongs what He Gives. Br. Haseeb as you all know, has worked tirelessly for the Muslim community in Winnipeg and Manitoba and also to ensure that the New Masjid and Center construction project would come to completion. May Allah the Exalted add this to his balance of Hasanaat and May He SWT Protect him from the torment of the grave. - M. G. Joundi. |

Re: Our condolences
Wa a3lykum as-Salaam WaraHmatulla hi Wabarakatuhu:
Inna Lillahil wa Inna illayhi Raajioon.. It made my heart soo happy to hear that this brother was part of the efforts set forth within the community in da3wa Fillah. Imagine the scale of rewards that will continue for him (rahimahullah). Truly pieces of Saqadah Jaairyah that will bi ithnillah taa a3la ease his life in the Grave and life in the hereafter and raise him in great ranks. To the beloved family of the deceased brother (rahimahullah), I say: Inna lillahil ma akhadha, wa lahu ma ata wa kullu shai in i3ndahu biajalin musamman, faltasbir waltahtasib "Surely to Allaah belongs what He takes, and to Allaah belongs what He gives and everything has an appointed term with Him. Therefore, endure patiently and expect the reward." And: A3zamallahu ajraka, wa ahsana a3za aka wa ghafara limiayyitika. "May Allaah magnify your reward and make perfect your bereavement and forgive your deceased." Allahumma Aameen Wassalamua3lykum Wara7matulla Hi Wabarakatuhu |
