Alright, with two weeks left before LULL, we need to revive this thread and motivation. I can sense a lot of cold feet. We are not as hard-driven as we were in the last class. Siblings, we need to push it. Today is friday. It is the best day to invite people to register for the class. Just take a couple sheets of paper and have people register. You know what? Take their credit card info, too. We need to really start moving. Inshallah, we all will look forward to each other's comments/achievements to be posted here. Ok so two things are very helpful from my experience:
1) Sending out a mass email to everyone on your list 2) sending out emails individually to your friends, classmates, co workers, etc, telling them about the class and why they haven't signed up. In addition, refute their excuses. This is time consuming but if you take 5 minutes to email 2 people everyday, it doesn't seem bad at all. It's very worth it at the end, have experienced it myself!!

I want to give my glad tidings. Al hamdulillah, today at Juma'ah, 5 people registered for Almaghrib (by the will of Allah). What a comfort. Inshallah there are more. I only printed 3 pages and I was surprised. There are a couple people that, Inshallah, I will hunt and more inshallah, too. |
