Tafseer Juz' Amma: testimonials and ambiance - Sh Shpendim Nazdaku

Tafseer Juz' Amma is one of the Best classes I have ever taken. I took the class with Sheikh Muhammad Alshareef in Bradford and it really increased my iman alhamdulillah.

Alhumdullilah!! I'm sure I can speak for the rest of the Tayybites for not only being the first to be taught Touched by An Angel after such a long time in the US, but also being the first students of Sh. Shpendim.

It's hard to put this class in words, but echoing others--it feels like a Tazkiyah/Tafseer/Lifecoaching/Psychology/Sociology class all in one.

Sh. Shpendim mentioned that there are all of these sciences in the Qur'an because Allah (swt) has sent all forms of guidance for us, and I'm being reminded of that.

His teaching style is very unique as well. Each instructor is a real gem, and Sh. Shpendim isn't any different. He's extremely motivated and you can see his love for the Book of Allah (swt) as he teaches us. He gives us a lot of practical examples and takes us on a journey into our own minds by making us think about what Allah (swt) is telling us. The Qur'an is not only a message to the Prophet (saw), but the ummah as a whole. The class really makes you do Muhasibah of your life and your actions.

Reiterating what others were saying...at points you don't want to take notes because you feel like you'll miss out on what the Shaykh is saying. The class in one word: Amazing!

The shaykh's close approach with the students, made the environment easy to breath in.
This class was one of those which you couldn't take notes out of being lost in the zone of reflection.

One thing which made the class even more interesting, was the involvement of the students to recite each surah he taught, it was inviting and encouraging to hear the different people with their own unique approaches.

This class was interesting...alHamdulillah i have to agree that the Shaykh was an expert at putting the Qur'aanic ayaat into today's lens and making us reflect on ayaat we have known for a while.

Some of us have memorized this whole juz for years but there were lessons the Shaykh gave us that we never have derived. Allah is the one to thank for all of these blessings.

Allah's words have effects that destroy the effects of human words. This was proven to me once again by the Shaykh. When people reflect on Allah's words and the Shaykhs manner, a beautiful thing happens: Tazkiyyah.

May Allah continue to bless Tayybah and bless the Shuyookh of almaghrib for all that they have taught us.

Alhamdulilah, all praise is due to Allah who has blessed Qabeelat Hayl with the likes of Shaykh Shpendim and this awesome class.

Subhana'Allah, for years some of us have listened and recited these short surahs, but indeed it is when we sit down as a collective, hear the verses being recited, pondering on how it applies to each of our lives, and then extracting a frame work of guidance for all of us, then you'll see the beauty of Juz amma and this class. In delving into these short surahs, and experiencing the shaykh's awesome teaching style, you'll get a bit closer to understanding just how the companions might have felt upon the revelation of such a noble book. You'll understand the compassion and the mercy Allah subhana wa tala had for the Prophet sal allahu sallam, the companions, and those coming into the religion of Islam. Its an amazing journey back to a time where Allah azza wa jala brought light to a land of darkness, and illuminated the hearts of the people with it. And bithniAllah- you too (if you haven't taken this class) will also have a rejuventation in your heart and the light therein illuminated more.
