No, but they will give you a general proof that is not specific for this matter but considered to be a principle for tens, hundreds, or even thousands of matters.

And by the way, many tapes of lectures or even recitations of the Quran include an audio part at the end, stating copy rights info and the illegality of reproducing or copying such materials. They even have it sometimes printed on the Cd or tape......

Those who have posted it online without permission from EmanRush have basically breached the copyright. This is probably because they do not believe that Islamic knowledge can be copyrighted, or it might be out of ignorance (i.e. they didn't notice it was copyrighted...).

The above answers your question, depending on whether or not you follow the opinion that copyrighting Islamic material is valid.

What if EmanRush doesnt produce CDs but rather lets people download the audio. I dont see any costs associated with this.

What if a student wants to record his own lectures? Audio lectures are not protected by copyright. Why is this not allowed?
