As Salaamu 'Alaykum Wa Rahmataullaahi Wa Barakaatuhu

It is with a heavy heart we inform you of the passing of Akhtar Jamal Khan, the mother of Tariw Ahsan and the aunt of Noor Syed. May Allaah forgive her sins, protect her from the punishment of the grave and admit her into Jannatul Firdaws.

Her Janaza will take place tomorrow: Thursday Feb 10 2011
Location: Jami Omar
Time: After Salat'l Duhur.

We ask you to keep her and her family in your dua’s.

The Prophet SalAllaahu 'Alayhi wa salaam said: "(A believer) who accompanies the funeral procession of a Muslim out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah's reward and remains with it till the funeral prayer is offered and the burial ceremonies are over, he will return with a reward of two Qirats. Each Qirat is like the size of the (Mount) Uhud. He who offers the funeral prayer only and returns before the burial, will return with the reward of one Qirat only."
