Assalamu Alaikum Banu New Mexico!

I see 'Love Notes' with Sheikh Yaser Birjas is coming to your city soon, insha'Allah! I just wanted to let you know that this seminar (insha'Allah) will BLOW...YOU...AWAY!!! Yes, it's that awesome, no exaggeration! If you let anyone you know (whether married or single) let this opportunity pass them, YOU will surely feel guilty and regret for THEM! Please, for their own sake, don't let them miss it. May Allah reward immensely Sheikh Yaser because he really knows how to deliver this seminar. We've been in class all weekend long, and we still can't stop talking about the seminar. LOVE NOTES is not just a seminar...it is a one-of-a-kind EVENT! Please, DON'T MISS OUT!

Jazakallah Khair! Yes, we are really looking forward to Shykh Yasir Birjas's class! Inshallah, we are anticipating a large number of people to attend. Do you have any advice on how to market this class?

For sure-- a few ideas. Crash (in a polite way of course), every major Islamic event in your community. Ask for stage time if possible. If there's an event, you guys should have a booth, be talking to people personally and be passing out postcards. Personal invitations go a long way. If you know someone, keep talking to them about the seminar until that person signs up.
Facebook--make use of this tool (through personal accounts and a general Banu fanpage) bc it spreads the word real fast. Update your statuses on a regular basis, post relevant ayah, ahadith, videos. Also, regularly remind folks about registration on a regular basis.

I am so saddened that not enough people registered for this course and it was cancelled

How can we get our community excited about these courses? Everyone that has attended these courses are impacted in a wonderful and blessed way, alhumdulilah.

I just feel like those that will not give it a chance are missing out on amazing courses! And then indirectly, it affects those of us that so desperately want al maghrib courses to continue. If we cannot get enough people to enroll, it is impossible to have the classes in our community. So, how do we educate those in the community about these amazing seminars? other than flyers and emails...

I ask Allah to please open the hearts of those in our community in order to spread the infinite knowledge the Al-Maghrib scholars have to offer our ummah, ameen. Please whoever may read this post...please supplicate for our community to maintain the numbers of enrollment so we can continue this amazing quest for knowledge of our amazing deen!

It is not possible for some who love the courses to travel to texas or california in order to attend these courses....we were so blessed that Al-Maghrib came to us. Please don't give up on us!
