Pictures in the Seminar
I noticed in the Durbah seminars that recently we started to display the banner stand that has pictures of all the shuyookh for display.
From what I know of Shaykh YQ's forum post many years ago, he said that hard-copy of pictures are not allowed by majority of scholars. However, saving them as a soft copy was OK. I understand that this is being done for marketing purposes. I would like to know if the shuyookh have changed their position, or if they have created an exception to this rule. Please let us know. |
