1. Ihsaan Scholarship

MAXIMUM AMOUNT
1 Course Tuition (worth RM350 per seat)

DESCRIPTION:
Funded by various individuals whom love to give and assist students in their endeavor to increase knowledge and the religion of Islam through AlMaghrib Institute as a symbol of gratitude to their Lord.


APPLICATION DEADLINE
January 15th, 2012

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
The scholarship will pay for any qualifying student for a double weekend course offered by AlMaghrib Institute in full for tuition fees. The student must comply with the following criteria in order to qualify:

• Open to all applicants who demonstrate a need for financial assistance
• Interested applicants will be interviewed.
• The students must show a proven track record of continuous participation in Islamic knowledge seeking activities over the last 1 year.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted & all decision of the awards of the scholarship is final.

SCHOLARSHIP OBLIGATIONS FOR SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS ONLY

• Student must attend all the days of the seminar.
• Student must submit a two-page summary no later than the day the online exam is administered for the seminar.
• The scholarship will be awarded for the next upcoming Qabeelat Ihsaan seminar.
• If the student wishes to not accept the scholarship for the next upcoming Qabeelat Ihsaan seminar, it will be considered forfeited and given to the next eligible student.
• Student must be involved or take part in Qabeelat Ihsaan IMPACT community project.

• The students must show a strong interest in seeking islamic knowledge
• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted & all decision of the awards of the scholarship is final.

3. Saidatina Khadija Scholarship

MAXIMUM AMOUNT
1 Course Tuition (worth RM350 per seat)

DESCRIPTION:
Founded by sister Padzilah Enda Sulaiman of Telekung Siti Khadijah in the year 1432 AH. It has been established on the principle of assisting students in their endeavor to increase knowledge and deen of Islam through the AlMaghrib Institute.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
The scholarship will pay for any qualifying student for a double weekend course offered by AlMaghrib Institute in full for tuition fees. The student must comply with the following criteria in order to qualify:

• Interested applicants must be below 25 years old and will be interviewed.
• The students must show a proven track record of continuous participation in Islamic knowledge seeking activities over the last 1 year.
• This scholarship is awarded only to applicants who demonstrate a need for financial assistance.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted & all decision of the awards of the scholarship is final.

SCHOLARSHIP OBLIGATIONS FOR SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS ONLY

• Student must attend all the days of the seminar.

4. Academic Financial Aid

MAXIMUM AMOUNT:
Fund only covers 50% of the tuition fee (worth RM 175)

DESCRIPTION:
Academic Financial Aid is awarded only to students who demonstrate a need for financial assistance.

ELIGIBILITY:

• Open to all applicants who demonstrate a need for financial assistance.
• Show a proven track record of participation in Islamic knowledge seeking activities over the last 1 year.
• Academic Financial Aid is a confidential agreement between Qabeelat Ihsaan and the student. We expect recipients to be professional and respect this confidentiality.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted & all decision of the awards of the scholarship is final.

SCHOLARSHIP OBLIGATIONS FOR SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS ONLY

• Student must attend all the days of the seminar.
• Student must take the online exam after attending the course.
• Student must submit a two-page summary no later than the day the online exam is administered for the seminar.
• The financial aid will be awarded for the next upcoming Qabeelat Ihsaan seminar "A Heart Serene: The Purification of the Soul".
• If the student wishes to not accept the financial aid for the next upcoming Qabeelat Ihsaan seminar, it will be considered forfeited and given to the next eligible student.
• Student must be involved or take part in Qabeelat Ihsaan IMPACT community project.
• Student is eligible to receive the Academic Financial Aid not more than once per Gregorian calendar year, nor for consecutive seminars.

5. Honoring the Huffadh

Alhamdulillah, we are pleased to be offering a new incentive program for huffaadh. Anyone who has completed memorization of the entire Qur’an may take one AlMaghrib seminar per year free of charge.

HOW TO APPLY
Please print and complete the application form. There are three parts to the application.

1. Student Information: Please provide your full contact information.
2. Seminar Information: Please provide the details of the seminar you would like to take.
3. Verification Form: Please have your imam or Islamic school personnel fill out and sign the second page of this application to verify the completion of your haafidh program.Or, please email us your certificate/proof of completion of the haafidh program.

Please note the following conditions:

• The discount is not retroactive – if you have already paid for a seminar, you may not ask for a refund; inshaAllah you may use your discount for a future seminar.
• The discount may be applied to any seminar in any city; however, you may use the discount only once per calendar year.
• Any student who applies for this discount is expected to attend the entire seminar and take the exam, as is expected of all students.
• The discount will not be given on-site; applications must be submitted at least a week prior to the seminar.

DATELINE

• The application is due no later than the Sunday, January 22, 2012. Please postmark your application at least 10 days prior to the seminar so that we may receive it on time. Forms submitted after the deadline will not be processed.
