Abdullaah ibn az-Zubair (radiya Allaahu Anhumaa) gathers the children of Madinah to go give bay'ah to Rasoolullaah (saAllaahu 'Alayhi wa Sallam)
Mud yadaka li oubaayi'uk "Extend your hand that I may give you bay'a"... and then the other children followed him. |

Why is Abu Bakr called As Sideeq?
Sideeq: one who constantly affirms the truth.After Rasul Allah sal Allahu alayhi wa salam's accention in Al Mi'raj, a fitnah began to spread amoung the Muslims as the Mushrikeen explained the so-called 'impossibility' of the event. Even before the Prophet came to him, Abu Bakr says: "Inn Qa'la, Fa Kad Sadaqah" - If he (sal Allahu alayhi wa salam) said it, then it is the Truth. Rasul Allah responds to Abu Bakr saying: "and you are As Sideeq".
