Re: BIG Name Calling (TM): Consultancy training
I apologize for my last post, I did not realize that the name GoBeyond has already been chosen.
Although I am too late, here's an idea I had. The Athan just came on, and it repeated Haya `alal Falah... and it hit me that the call to success can be used for more than just prayer, success can also be earned by striving for `ilm, and by righteous actions to please Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta`ala). So: Haya Alal Falah, Come to Success. or To Success/AlalFalah wa `alaykum al-salaam.

Re: BIG Name Calling (TM): Consultancy training
This maybe a cliche but the phrase...
One for All, All for One ...really talks about unity of our Ummah. That the person who's the leader is there for everyone and that the people that he/she represent are behind them 100%. Just a thought. And Guards of Eman

Re: BIG Name Calling (TM): Consultancy training
I think, ya ustadh, you should stick with the original idea of "Go Beyond" but add a slight twist to it...like:
Peak Performance coaching by SoarBeyond Because we don't just want this to "GO" but to "SOAR" ...it also goes well with the Eman Rush slogan ..."Give your eman wings!" And this would definitely maintaint the 'dude, that's cool!' or that's 'yo guy that's so sick it makes me wanna vomit' as the youth today would say :-).

Asalaam Alaikum,
Ya ustadh Muhammad Alshareef, Unfortunately, I haven't been on the forums for a while, and now I'm realizing the harm that has caused for me already! It just so happens that I am starting my MBA this semester, and my goal (inshaAllah) is to go through this MBA and then perhaps go through a phd and focus on organizational behavior and leadership, and try to apply it to Muslim organizations. For example, for my first class, organizational behavior, the course goes through 10 or so primary management skills that a manager needs to have to be successful. As I read through these skills, I thought that subhanAllah, the Seerah of the Prophet (SAW) and the Companions and the scholars are FILLED with examples of these, so I've been going on my own time and jotting down ahadith which show examples of how Muslims have implemented these skills, and I can provide those notes over the forum for reflection and additions. In any case, I'd be extreemely interested in helping you with this initiative in any way possible, or at least learning from you regarding this. If that sounds cool to you, let me know, inshaAllah! |

Assallam Alai ASheikh,
Through your research and studies are you able to post some of the mappings that you see between your MBA studies and the Seerah of the prophet (pbuh) and the stories of the Sahaba? sallam, TheSonicMufti |
