Shepherds

Because of the messengers and prophets' role as leading and teaching their people, and the hadith where the Prophet, Sall Allahu 'alaihi wa sallam, said

"Beware. every one of you is a shepherd and every one is answerable with regard to his flock..." (from Sahih Muslim)

*I was wondering if this is a Conatation that can only be used for Umar RadiAllahu Anhu or is it permissible to call someone else that also? Please explain if you know the correct answer. Jazakallahi Khairun. *

Why Shepherds is a good name

What happens when Shepherds leave their flock--(this is another reason why the title
"Shepherds" fits well in my opinion)

Quote:
450 sheep 'commit suicide'

First one sheep jumped to its death. Then stunned Turkish shepherds, who had left the herd to graze while they had breakfast, watched as nearly 1,500 others followed, each leaping off the same cliff, Turkish media reported.

In the end, 450 dead animals lay on top of one another in a billowy white pile, the Aksam newspaper said. Those who jumped later were saved as the pile got higher and the fall more cushioned, Aksam reported.

"There's nothing we can do. They're all wasted," Nevzat Bayhan, a member of one of 26 families whose sheep were grazing together in the herd, was quoted as saying by Aksam.

The estimated loss to families in the town of Gevas, located in Van Province in eastern Turkey, tops US$100,000, a significant amount of money in a country where average GDP per head is around US$2,700.

"Every family had an average of 20 sheep," Aksam quoted another villager, Abdullah Hazar as saying. "But now only a few families have sheep left. It's going to be hard for us."

Re: BIG Name Calling (TM): Consultancy training

Shepherds is nice and gentle, however it takes the "BANG" out of the name - you see what I'm saying? It's like when you hear the word "Forge"--whoooa something strong comes in mind. Same with Blaze- sounds all firey and blitzy and huge and intense.

I think Ustaadh is trying to get that in the name, -wa Allahu 3alem- he wants a title with some "hmmf" to it you know?

Samurai, Inc. -- Samurai warriors not only wielded the sharpest swords, they truly knew how to use them to their fullest potential. And on top of that, they did so with an extremely high code/standard of honor (I would say the highest, but we know the ICE - Islamic Code of Ethics - are the highest code of honor!)

Ash-Shams

or

Al-Miftaah

Ash-Shams - because it's paints a strong image and symbolically it has a lot of positive meanings. It is also a name of a Surah. And the name is kind of related to Al-Maghrib.

Al-Miftaah - because it sounds nice in Arabic. Plus it alludes to great things to come, insha-Allah.

Let's compile some awesome names for this instructor training consultany company, in sha Allah. Here are two main names that i had which i'm not content with:

>> Legacy (as in the legacy that the student will leave behind.]
>> Katana [Metaphor for leadership as precise as that of a sword]

What amazing name can you think of? Bismillah ...
What else?

Ya Sheikh, stick to Katana ... I like the sound of it! It sounds like an Urdu word

Ok... undo ... let me get serious for a second...

may I suggest :

Focus

or

AlHikmah (the Wisdom)
