Assalamu Alaykum

This is my first time on the forums, so I don't know how often people check for updates on here. I just wanted to let all of you know that our Qabeelat is creating our first newsletter, Insha'Allah. I know the Al Maghrib course had a huge impact on all of us. Please share the impact it had on your life and the knowledge you gained by writing a short ( or long) poem, article, story, etc. Run with your imagination!

Example: one sister is writing about how the course enabled her to make the transition to quit listening to music, Masha'Allah.

InshaAllah, we're thinking about having it completed before the next class. So the due date for submissions is Monday, September 12th.

Also, some people have told me that they are a little shy about introspective writing, so if you are also a little shy we can keep your piece "anonymous".

So, you have no excuse for not spending at least 15 minutes on this!! :P

Also, any suggestions for the newsletter's name???

This experience defintely made things clearer for me after taking this class about Aqeedah.

Great idea! We'd like to see more Nashville participation.

And if Atlanta and other cities would like to contribute, we're all for it

We're almost done with the newsletter. It's almost ready for printing. If anyone from Nashville/Atlanta/etc., or even in Memphis, has written something for the newsletter but was too shy to email it, please do so before midnight tonight! JazakAllah Khair. You know you wrote something! Now email it!
